It's a lot but basically, don't run for office in Sacramento until it's more welcoming, and the endorsement process needs to be torched.

Well, County Supervisor Phil Serna is finally retiring and he immediately endorsed sitting councilmember Eric Guerra. Who else will get into that race? Also talked a bit about a bill Ro Khanna and Summer Lee introduced a few months ago to help get money out of politics and the decline of Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton's legacy by her refusing to retire from Congress.

I've worked on campaigns for years and even worked a stint in Washington, DC, to help fix a broken healthcare system. I cannot WAIT to share the campaign experience, the dehumanization, the stress, and more, as someone who had to work and was unable to self-fund. So many people wanted me to keep running and vote for me, but when a known progressive candidate finally hopped in, I ended my race and felt relief.
