  • Instant Icks & Dirty Little Secrets - Listener Confessions
    Apr 22 2026

This week on Did She Just Say That? we’re diving into the icks that haunt us and the listener confessions that had us clutching pearls we don’t even own.

We’re talking the tiny turn-offs that instantly dry the vibe, the behaviors that make us reconsider humanity, and the confessions so spicy we had to double-check they were legal… or at least morally flexible. 🔥

    It’s messy. It’s juicy. It’s a little scandalous.

And yes — you will absolutely judge someone. Maybe even yourself.

Come for the chaos, stay for the “oh PLEASE tell me they didn’t do that.”

You will definitely want to pull your chair up for this one and join our table!

  • Make It Make Sense……But Also Give It To Me
    Apr 15 2026

If you’ve ever looked around and thought “make it make sense”… this one’s for you.

This week we’re diving headfirst into the social norms, trends, and unspoken rules that just aren’t adding up anymore. From over-the-top gender reveals and kids’ birthday parties, to fashion trends that might look good on your friend but absolutely not on you.

We get into the exhausting “who texts who” dating games, why we should all just say what we want and want what we say, and how people out here are treating red flags like cute little personality traits

    Also on the list:

    – Vague prayer requests (be specific… or admit you’re a little nosy like us)

    – Posting every life update online

    – Speakerphone in public… especially in the bathroom?? Jail. Immediately.

Then we switch it up and get honest about the things we want but don’t always say out loud, what our “type” really is, what a good date actually looks like, and the little differences between us (think: gray sweats & backwards hat vs wrangler jeans & boots).

It’s real, it’s fun, and it’s giving “we said what we said.”

    Love,

    Ash & Chess

  • We're Not Going To Keep Pretending
    Apr 1 2026

We're not doing it anymore......we're not pretending.

In this unhinged and unfiltered episode, we're saying the quiet parts out loud, the little white lies we tell ourselves to get through the day and the things women have been acting like we enjoy for far too long.

From "I'm fine" (when we're absolutely not) to the social norms we've all just accepted without question.....yeah, we're calling it ALL out.

This one is equal parts silly, painfully honest, and just uncomfortable enough to make you feel seen.

If you've ever smiled through something you hated, convinced yourself of something that wasn't true, or gone along with something just because "that's what we do", this episode is for you!

If you've ever wanted to say this out loud but kept it to yourself because you're a sweet, respectful woman.....same

  • Integration & Permission
    Mar 25 2026

What does it actually look like to grow… and then live in that growth?

In this episode, we’re talking about choosing alignment over approval, even when it costs you something. Because sometimes growth means losing people, old versions of yourself, and the comfort of being who everyone else expects you to be. And the truth? The right people stay.

We open up about what it feels like when others notice your change and how your peace can make others uncomfortable when they’ve only known your chaos. We talk about giving yourself permission to grow (yes, consider this your official permission slip), and also holding space for the reality that it’s okay to not be okay in the process.

We also get real about social media pressure, comparison, and why protecting your peace might look like hitting unfollow. Plus, we’re simplifying life in small ways, from baking bread to letting go of unrealistic expectations.

And because it’s us… there’s a moment about very white ankles that you won’t want to miss.

This episode is vulnerable, honest, and a reflection on everything we’ve learned about ourselves as we wrap up month two of this podcast journey.

Remember, you always have a seat at our table!

    Ash and Chess

  • The Uncomfortable Side of Becoming
    Mar 18 2026

This week on Did She Just Say That?, we’re talking about the kind of growth that doesn’t feel inspiring — it feels uncomfortable.

Becoming often looks like stretching, shedding, grieving old versions of yourself, and questioning everything. Why can growth sometimes feel like loss?

We unpack what happens when you start evolving — setting boundaries, saying no, choosing peace over chaos — and realizing not everyone will be comfortable with the new version of you.

Discomfort doesn’t mean you’re failing. It may just mean you’re rewiring.

In this episode, we explore the questions that come with growth:

What am I afraid to release?

Who am I becoming that scares me?

And how to embrace the next level of who you’re becoming.

And remember....You always have a seat at our table.

  • Clearing Out the Mental Clutter
    Mar 11 2026

This week we're talking about something most of us carry around without even realizing it-the clutter in our minds.

Not a "new year, new me" conversation.....but to clear out what doesn't belong anymore.

    Old lies.

    Repetitive thought.

Past labels that we've already outgrown but somehow still believe.

We talk about where these core lies come from, trauma, failures, rejection, grief, divorce and how they quietly shape the way we see ourselves and our lives.

At some point you have to ask yourself: am I a prisoner to my own mind?

    In this episode we unpack:

    • How to recognize the lies we've normalized
    • Why decluttering your mind is necessary for growth
    • How to work through the lies once you identify them
    • The power of letting trusted people speak truth into your life

Because freedom starts when the lies lose their place in your head.

Also....Somehow Forrest Gump makes another appearance.

Pull up a chair and join the conversation…..you always have a seat at our table!

  • Becoming the Person You Are Meant to Be!
    Mar 4 2026

What if you were never "too much"...just in spaces that were too small?

In this episode, we dive deep into identity the labels we picked up, the roles we performed, and the versions of ourselves we created to survive. We talk about what it means to stop mowing over behaviors and finally pull up the roots. Because becoming isn't about reinventing yourself. It's about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be.

We unpack what it looks like to outgrow old identities, release survival roles like the fixer or the peacekeeper, and face the uncomfortable but peaceful feeling of growth.

You're not becoming someone new. You're becoming someone true.

And, you always have a seat at our table.
