A quick announcement! Gonna take another break. See you all soon <3

This week is a conversation between eden and their sister-in-law Maile about being a micro-influencer over some rooibos tea. They talk about Maile's experiences, what she likes about it, why she's hoping to grow her audience, and some of her plans to find a niche without getting too specific at the cost of potential audience.

We're back! After a recuperative break, eden is back with a new episode, talking with their brother-in-law about fast food franchises and why they love them. The big focus is the reputational recovery that Arby's has been on, and how Wendy's has gone down the toilet, but they venture plenty of other places too.

Hi listeners. I guess this has become a sort of depressing (but also weirdly beautiful?) running theme, but another of my dogs, Loki, passed away recently. So in his honor, here are some sounds of the rain on the porch, alongside a quiet tea session in Loki's memory. If you want, feel free to make yourself a bowl and relax, or meditate on love, loss, and how we move on through our grief.

Thanks, as always, and I'll be back in three weeks with new episodes. We've got some fun ones on the way.

It's the finale for season two! Jackson's back to finish telling us tales of Mountain Dew, alongside a very silly experiment: eden decides to steep some dan cong oolong in Mountain Dew for the tea this week. (Spoiler alert: it's not very good!) Plus some other surprises.

We'll be back in a few weeks with season three!

Host eden sits down with their friend Jake over some shou pu'er to chat football, or soccer, or whatever you wanna call it (as long as you're not doing that dismissive thing non-sports-people like to do where they call it "sportsball"). They talk world cup, Jake's favorite team, how he got into soccer, and why he's still so captivated by the sport.

Host eden sits down with their friend Claire over some bowls of Anxi Hairy Crab Mao Xie Fujian oolong tea to talk about books: why we read them, how we keep track of what we've read, and Claire's book journal. Other conversational culs-de-sac include dirty sodas, Mormons, Stolen Roller Derby Valor™️, and more.

This week, eden sits down with their friend Dan to talk all about the PBS docuseries American Experience. They talk about why Dan got so interested in it, his historical interests, and go down some other discussionary culs-de-sac as well.
