From the streets of untidy Ilford in London, to Adelaide by boat, to the Australian Australian Navy, to Wauchope, Al Deets has had, by any definition, an interesting journey both in faith and in deed.

Get to know the real Al but listening to this show - an ride through his life, the good and the bad......

Cheers, Des

This week on "Delving with Des" we are chatting with the delightful Brittany Michelle, who is working on her 4th degree including a Masters, and is planning on a 5th next year.

This week on Delving with Des I am chatting with Paul Simios, an interesting man who grew up in Blacktown in Sydney, ended up traveling to India, Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam and became a Yoga trainer, a health specialist, and a life coach.

Paul lived in Vietnam, married a Vietnamese lady, and, after 16 years, return about a year ago, to live in Port Macquarie.

Interesting life journey.

I look forward to you joining me.

IN this show, we have adapted two interviews with the great Duncan Armstrong OAM, who won the swimming Gold Medal at the Seoul Olympics in 1988.

We chat about his childhood, his training regime with Laurie Lawrence, and the emotions involved in swimming at the highest level.

We talk about the aftermath of achieving greatness, and how it impacted his life, and then we talk about his faith journey, and struggles with his health.

Great conversation originally recorded for Momentum Australia.
