A proposito di questo titolo

There is a yearning inside of you for a deep and meaningful relationship with God. You love Him, but not as much as you know you could. Or should.

You struggle with feelings of guilt because you know that often you’re just going through the motions rather than eagerly drinking from the well that never runs dry.

You go through spurts of motivation and excitement and then crash down on feelings of discouragement, apathy, or hopelessness.

I know what it’s like to feel just a little lost. A little bit stuck. Or even, just flat-out complacent.

I understand that the reality of mom life and the day-to-day tasks can get in the way of all our best intentions. I also know that sometimes it’s just sheer exhaustion that keeps us from moving forward and growing in the Word of God and in our faith.

God knows that motherhood is demanding. Yet He made a way for you to be a mom and have a vibrant spiritual life and connection with Him at the same time. He means for you to thrive in life, not merely get by.

Let me be that voice in your ear (literally and figuratively) pushing you forward. Encouraging you. Sharing stories of healing and victories. Reminding you of His amazing love and amazing grace.

And, maybe, giving you a swift kick in the pants to keep you going.

My name is Helen Siemens, and in this podcast, I want to talk to you like I would to a friend over a hot cup of coffee, reminding you of the truth you already know. Stirring you up to love and good works. Cheering you on as your sister in Christ, walking with you through spiritual growth and intentional living.

  • 51 | What NOT to Do as an Overwhelmed Mom
    Jan 14 2026

You love your kids. But you feel constantly behind. No matter how much you do, it never feels like enough. You second-guess yourself. You watch other families and wonder why your life doesn't look like theirs.

You are tired of measuring yourself. Tired of carrying expectations that leave you drained. Tired of feeling like peace is always just out of reach.

This episode speaks to the mom who feels overwhelmed and discouraged. The mom who feels like it's all too much, but isn't sure what the "too much" is. The mom who wants clarity, peace, and confidence in how she is mothering and leading her home.

This episode is a reminder that God sees you and loves you. There is rest for you, even in the busyness of life and motherhood. And you are not alone in this season.

    God Bless!

  • 50 | How People Pleasing Replaces True Worship
    Jan 7 2026

    We have all done it.

You feel the nudge to say yes. Or to say no. You feel the pull to speak up. Or to stay quiet.

And deep down, you already know what the right thing is.

So why is it so hard to do it?

Often, it's not confusion. It's fear.

In this episode, I talk about how people pleasing quietly takes the place of true worship. How it disguises itself as humility, service, or being nice, while slowly shifting our focus off of God and onto ourselves.

We look at how fear of people shows up in everyday decisions. The yes we did not mean to give. The gift we keep hidden. The obedience we avoid because we do not want to be seen, judged, or misunderstood.

If you find yourself managing approval more than trusting God, this episode will help you see what's really happening and how to begin redirecting your worship back where it belongs.

    God Bless!

  • 49 | How to Become Someone New: Practical Steps for Real, Lasting Transformation (Pt. 2)
    Dec 17 2025

Real change rarely happens in big, dramatic moments. More often, it begins with small, faithful choices that don’t feel impressive at the time.

In this episode, I talk about how quiet faithfulness and small, consistent action leads to meaningful, lasting transformation. Not overnight. Not through pressure or perfection. But through obedience, patience, and trusting God with the process.

If you’ve ever felt discouraged because your growth feels slow…

If you’ve wondered whether your small efforts even matter…

This episode is a reminder that where change truly happens.

    God Bless!
