Morning Inspiration: "Forgiveness is not about forgetting." It is about letting go of another person's throat.
Affirmation: I release all resentment and anger towards those who have hurt me, and I choose to forgive.
Today's meditation: Begin by finding a comfortable seated position and taking a few deep breaths. Close your eyes and focus on your breath as you inhale and exhale. As you continue to breathe deeply, visualize a soft, warm light surrounding you. Now, imagine that light expanding out to include those around you, sending love and compassion to everyone. As you continue to breathe, imagine that light is flowing through your body, warming and soothing you. Think about a time when you received compassion from someone, and hold onto that feeling. Allow that feeling of compassion to spread to those around you, including yourself. Let go of any negative thoughts or feelings and replace them with compassion and kindness. Sit with this feeling of compassion for as long as you like before returning to your day.
