Hal Elrod shouldn't be alive.

When he was 20, he was hit head-on by a drunk driver and declared clinically dead for six minutes. When he came out of his coma, the doctors had more bad news – they told him he'd never walk again…

But he did.

Years later, Hal was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer… and given two weeks to live.

He beat that too.

It's the time of year when folks are getting excited about the goals they want to hit next year. And while having goals is awesome…

When you set a goal that feels really big, it can drain the energy out of you – the finish line seems so far away… a little too out of reach.
