Episode 7 — Mount Isa

Another lead takes James towards Mount Isa, but his trusty Holden has ideas of its own and decides that mechanical cooperation is entirely optional. With engine trouble threatening his progress, James must rely on strangers, local knowledge and the remarkable Australian tradition of conducting investigations in public bars. Somewhere among the miners and their stories, there might finally be a clue worth following.

Episode 6 — Miserable Muzzy

The search leads James towards Charters Towers and a man known as Miserable Muzzy. With a nickname like that, James can hardly expect a cheerful welcome. Yet somewhere among the characters, stories and questionable directions he encounters may be another clue to the whereabouts of his father's old mate. Twenty pounds has never caused one young Australian quite so much trouble.
