Kimberly was raised in a Christian home and genuinely saved at 13 years old. But after losing her mother in a traumatic medical incident, grief turned into silence — and silence turned into pills. Nearly two years of addiction followed, eventually leading to the state taking custody of her son.

That morning, she took her last pill and cried out to God.

Fourteen years clean from pills. Two DUIs later after a relapse into alcohol. Jail time. Restoration. Custody regained. Calling awakened.

Now 40 years old, Kimberly has stepped away from seven years of truck driving to pursue ministry and launch a future faith-based recovery facility for women, men, and troubled teens.
