From Commonwealth games, Olympics, three Rugby World Cups and countless netball seasons, Nigel Yalden has been the voice of Radio Sport in New Zealand. As a first overseas guest on the pod, he talks to Nick about how he found his way into radio, the pressure of commentating on the All Blacks to an All Blacks nation and why he'll always have a nip of brandy on standby. There's also a discussion on unconscious bias and the culture of commentating in different parts of the world.

A decorated athlete turned adept, if not accomplished commentator, Steve Cram joins Nick Heath to talk about how he traded his running shoes for a commentator's mic. From learning from David Coleman after the deepest of deep-end starts to the assumption that as a track and field athlete, he should have known about every event, this is a fascinating chat. Steve has become a voice so synonymous with British sporting triumph in the athletics stadium, not to mention the feats of international athletes too. In an extended chat, we hear all about how he does what he does.
