This episode seeks to examine the reasons that sanctification can sometimes feel like a battle we can't win. This is largely because it's a battle we think is our to fight on our own. We strive for performance like the world, but refuse to rest in the Spirit as we're told in God's word.

This episode breaks down the frustration and alienation many Christians experience during dry seasons in their walk with the Lord. Through this episode we break down that many times, neither of those emotions resemble what is actually occurring during those periods. Sometimes we won't listen anyway, even more often the silence is for our formation, not punishment, and the reality is that God is present even when the silence is extended.

We've all had those seasons where we struggle with assurance. Whether it's because of our own waywardness, the difficulty of trial, or simply our a longing for feeling closer, we've all been at that point. So how do we find assurance? In this episode, we try to look at some of the reasons we sometimes feel the way we do, and then we examine what the Bible says as to what our response should be.
