Sydney is waking to a cool, partly cloudy winter morning, with the CBD starting at 10.6°C and heading for a top of 19°C. Parramatta begins at 9.1°C, also warming to 19°C, while Bondi sits at 12.8°C with a forecast high of 18°C. Expect a crisp start before conditions turn pleasant through the day. On the roads, it is a smooth start across Sydney, with no current traffic incidents reported and conditions looking excellent for drivers. Public transport is the key watchpoint this weekend, with major trackwork affecting several services. Sydney Metro is not running between Tallawong and Sydenham, with replacement buses operating between Tallawong and Chatswood only. On the T1 Western and Richmond Lines, buses replace trains between Penrith, Richmond and Granville, while trains continue between Granville and the City. South Coast Line passengers will also need replacement buses between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Johnny reminds listeners to check transport apps before heading out and to allow extra travel time for weekend journeys across Sydney and surrounding regions.
