  • Your Faith is Enough

Hi everyone, and welcome back to Come Bible with Ana. I am so glad you’re here today. This podcast is all about coming as you are—perfectly imperfect—to grow deeper in the Word. Today, we’re talking about a heavy but beautiful topic: what happens when someone you love doesn’t believe in miracles, but you do? Can your faith be enough for both of you? The short answer from the Bible is a resounding yes.
[Segment 1: The Friends Who Carried the Mat]
Let’s look at one of the most powerful "proxy faith" stories in the Bible. In Luke 5:17-26, we see a paralyzed man who couldn’t get to Jesus on his own. Maybe he was tired, maybe he was discouraged, or maybe he didn’t even believe a miracle was possible for him anymore.
But he had four friends who did believe. They carried him on a mat, and when they couldn’t get through the door, they literally tore a hole in the roof to lower him down to Jesus.
The Bible says something incredible in verse 20: "When Jesus saw their faith, he said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven’". Jesus didn’t wait for the man on the mat to give a speech about his belief. He responded to the faith of the ones carrying him. If you are "carrying" someone in prayer right now—someone who is skeptical, hurt, or just doesn't have the strength to believe—know that Jesus sees your faith on their behalf.

Thank you for your support. I thank you for listening. I just want to say, none of this would be possible without God. So until next time, keep Bibling, keep spreading God's word and stand in the gap for those who may not believe in miracles! Pour out to Him and lay it at His feet. Open your ears, your hearts and your minds, and put God first and see him work in everything, give God your heart, soul and life. Be disciplined in God and dig deeper in God's word. He loves you and so do I! This is the year of renewal and building your relationship and foundation on God's word.

Welcome to our latest podcast episode, where we dive into the transformative theme of "Renovation" as a God-given calling for the year. In our fast-paced world, we often seek quick fixes and superficial changes, but this year, we are called to embrace a deeper process of renewal—a complete transformation, both internal and external.
As we embark on this journey, we'll explore the powerful concept of renovation not merely as a series of repairs but as a profound change for the better. Drawing inspiration from Romans 12:2, we understand that the Greek word for "renewing" carries the literal meaning of "renovation." This profound insight invites us to view renovation as God's way of addressing the root issues in our lives, going beyond the surface to create lasting change.
In this episode, we'll delve into the story of Nehemiah and his extraordinary leadership in rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, offering us invaluable lessons on faith and strategic action. Nehemiah's journey, marked by prayer, unity, and resilience, serves as a testament to the power of divine calling and communal effort.
We'll also discuss how true renovation begins in the heart and mind, reminding us to clear away old habits and outdated mindsets to make room for God's new work in our lives. Through practical steps and spiritual insights, we'll guide you on how to embrace this "Renovation Season" with confidence and hope.
Join us as we uncover the spiritual and practical dimensions of renovation, and discover how aligning ourselves with God's purpose can lead to extraordinary transformations. Whether you're looking to rebuild the metaphorical walls of your life or seeking divine renewal, this episode promises to inspire and equip you for the journey ahead.

Welcome back. Today, we’re going into a place many of us avoid because it’s loud, it’s messy, and it feels "un-Christian." We’re talking about the white-hot anger of watching a mother battle cancer.

It is a horrific, gut-wrenching pain to see the woman who was your protector—your first hero—slowly fade or suffer. If you are angry today, I want you to know: that’s not a lack of faith. It’s a testament to how much you love her.

Segment 1: The Horror of the Watch

Watching someone you love suffer is a unique kind of torture. You watch the treatments—the chemo, the radiation, the surgeries—that sometimes feel as aggressive as the disease itself. You see her lose her strength, her hair, and her "normalcy," and it feels like the world is being robbed.

This isn't just "sad." It's infuriating. It feels like a "fiery ordeal" that shouldn't be happening. It's hard to articulate the anger that surges through me when I think about my mother's cancer. Watching her suffer is gut-wrenching, and the frustration of being unable to alleviate her pain is overwhelming. Cancer never just stays in one body; it invades the whole house. It's not just her battle; it's our family's battle.

    Bible:

    Psalm 6:2-3

    Psalm 30:5

    2 Corinthians 12:9

    2 Corinthians 4:16-18

    Psalms 46:1

    Isaiah 41:10

    Jeremiah 29:11

    Revelation 21:4

Thank you for your support. I thank you for listening. I just want to say, none of this would be possible without God. • Faith in the Pages
    Dec 14 2025

Faith is a central theme in the Bible, and it has the power to transform our lives. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” This passage reminds us that faith is not just about belief, but also about trust and conviction in the unseen. Having faith can give us the courage to face challenges head-on and to trust in God’s higher plan, even when our path seems unclear.
Faith encourages us to step forward with confidence, knowing that we are supported by a greater force. It invites us to embrace uncertainty with an open heart and to remain steadfast in our aspirations, no matter the obstacles we encounter.
Consider the story of Abraham, who embarked on a journey to an unknown land simply because he trusted in God's promise. His unwavering faith serves as a testament to the strength and resilience that faith can instill in us. It encourages us to pursue our own journeys with the same dedication and hope, regardless of how daunting they may seem.
