In October of 2001, one-year-old Jarkeius Adside vanished from a home in Leisure City, Florida, after a violent early-morning home invasion. Three armed men forced their way into the home and demanded money. When they left, they left with the baby. Inside the home, police found a significant amount of blood later confirmed to be Jarkeius’, raising fears about whether he could have survived. Despite extensive searches and a $25,000 reward- no arrests, ransom demands, or confirmed sightings ever followed. Jarkeius remains missing. In the early morning hours of June 18, 1982, 20-year-old Kelly Dove vanished while working the overnight shift at a gas station in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Just minutes before police arrived, Kelly made a series of calls reporting obscene phone calls and a suspicious man outside the store driving a silver Ford. When officers arrived- just minutes after Kelly’s 911 calls- the gas station was eerily untouched. Money left behind, her purse still behind the counter, and no signs of a struggle, but Kelly was gone. What followed was a decades-long search marked by missed leads, unanswered questions, and growing belief that Kelly was abducted and murdered. Three-year-old Arthur Williams, Jr was a bright, joyful little boy who spent his days playing alongside his big sister in their Las Vegas neighborhood. But on April 15th, 1985, within minutes of stepping outside to play, Junior was senselessly attacked by a man who approached the children on the sidewalk, spoke to them, and then stabbed Arthur before fleeing into a nearby alley. Arthur passed away the next morning, and despite sketches, witnesses, and the fear that gripped the community, the man responsible has never been identified. In November 2003, 33-year-old Mont Highley IV returned home to Alabama for Thanksgiving. He was looking forward to some of his favorite things: good food, time with family, and time spent outdoors. Mont had planned a simple weekend of hunting with his dad after Thanksgiving. But after he drove out to the family’s hunting land on Friday night, Mont vanished. His truck was found abandoned, his belongings left behind, and the farm showed unsettling signs that something was wrong. Weeks later, Mont’s body was discovered in an unused grain silo just miles from where he disappeared. Nearly 22 years later, his murder remains unsolved.
