El Charro is Nancy Guthrie's favorite restaurant — the oldest family-owned Mexican restaurant in America. Jennifer Coffindaffer sat there one night in October and interviewed about two dozen diners and the staff. Nobody believes Nancy is alive. Two couples said the sheriff blew it from the beginning. A man told Coffindaffer no comment three times. Ten women from Minnesota compared the case to Jacob Wetterling — a masked stranger, nearly twenty-seven years before a confession. The staff said the dead season filled with tourists because of Nancy, and the two hostesses at the door had never heard her name. Coffindaffer walks through it with Tony and Robin Dreeke.
