For our 50th episode, we're doing something a little different. No big BTS deep dive. No pages of research. Just the two of us looking back at Coffee & Comebacks and everything that's happened since we nervously hit record for the very first time.

We're talking about our favourite episodes, the ones that surprised us, the moments that made us laugh, the things we've learned about each other, and whether doing this podcast has changed us as ARMY.

And, of course, we're calling each other out along the way. 😂

We waited. And waited. And waited.

And then BTS finally took the stage at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

Four songs later…it was over. 😳

So yes, Sharon and I needed to talk about it.

In this bonus reaction episode, we’re talking about our experience watching BTS close Night 1 of the festival, from the excitement of finally seeing all seven members walk onto that stage to the moment we both realized…wait. That’s it?!

🎤 The four-song set: SWIM, 2.0, MIC Drop and FYA

🔊 The broadcast sound and microphone issues that had us wondering what was going on

😳 That incredibly abrupt ending

✈️ BTS making the trip from Korea to the U.S. and then appearing onstage for such a short set

👀 The online speculation that their set may have been shortened, and the very important difference between what fans suspect and what has actually been confirmed

💜 And most importantly, BTS themselves, because none of our frustration with what we watched changes how we felt about seeing OT7 together onstage.

The question we kept coming back to was:

Were we disappointed in BTS’s performance…or were we disappointed in the way BTS’s performance was presented to us?

Because those are two VERY different things.

📌 A little context after we recorded: We went back and looked at the documented Night 1 setlists. BTS performed just four songs, the fewest songs of the six Night 1 acts.

That certainly puts our “Wait…that was it?!” reaction into perspective.

But one thing matters: no one has officially confirmed that BTS had additional songs planned or that their set was cut short. We talk about that possibility in the episode because ARMY was widely discussing it, but we’re not presenting the speculation as fact.

This is very much our morning-after ARMY reaction: surprised, confused, a little frustrated…and still incredibly proud of our seven guys.

BTS may be some of the biggest performers in the world... but put all seven of them together onstage and apparently all bets are off. 😂

In Episode 49, we’re looking back at some of the funniest moments from BTS’s ARIRANG Tour, from the completely accidental to the moments where they knew EXACTLY what they were doing.

It’s Namjoon’s birthday, and you KNOW we couldn’t let September 12 go by without celebrating the man who has spent more than a decade leading, translating, thinking, overthinking, losing things, finding himself, and somehow keeping six other members moving in roughly the same direction. 😂💜

In this special birthday episode, we’re celebrating Kim Namjoon, our RM. We’re talking about the things that make him him, the moments that made us see him differently, the things we love and admire about him, and, of course, having a little fun along the way.

From his incredible mind and way with words to his love of art, nature, and all things Namjooning, there is so much more to RM than simply being “the leader of BTS.”

Two friends. Seven members. One very caffeinated ARMY conversation. ☕💜

Being BTS looks pretty amazing from the outside.

The concerts. The travel. The clothes. The success. Millions of people around the world loving what you create.

But then we started thinking about everything that comes WITH being BTS... and suddenly we weren’t so sure we’d survive. 😂

In this episode, we put ourselves in their shoes and ask the important questions.

Could we survive the trainee years? Living with six other people? BTS choreography with Dance Captain Hobi watching? 👀

What about airports packed with cameras, having virtually no privacy, everyone having an opinion about EVERYTHING you do, constantly being compared to the other members, and ARMY somehow spotting a tiny detail in the reflection of your sunglasses? 😂

Then there’s the actual job: world tours, jet lag, rehearsals, interviews, performing when you’re exhausted, being filmed constantly, keeping comeback secrets and somehow living AND working with the same six people for years.

And eventually we get to the more serious question.

Could any one of them have survived being BTS without the other six?

Maybe part of the reason BTS survived being BTS... was BTS. 💜

In this episode, we’re taking a city-by-city look back at BTS’s incredible run across North America, from Tampa all the way to the four-night finale in Los Angeles.

We’re talking attendance and records, the cities that rolled out the welcome mat for BTS, ARMY projects and fan events, brutal heat, storms and concert delays, surprise DJ Spin That songs, unforgettable member moments, and some of the things that didn’t go quite so smoothly along the way.

And when we get to Los Angeles, we have a little more to say. We watched all four SoFi Stadium concerts through the official livestreams, including Jung Kook’s birthday celebration and that emotional final night.

There were records broken, cities turned purple and red, hundreds of thousands of ARMY filling stadiums, and more than a few moments we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

In this episode, we’re talking about some of the people who have been part of BTS’s journey, including familiar names like Hobeom, Sejin, Son Sung-deuk, Pdogg and Park Nae Joo, along with the staff whose names we may never know.

Some were there when BTS were still seven young rookies trying to get noticed. Some watched them grow into the biggest group in the world.

Because seven men stand in the spotlight, but a whole lot of people helped them get there. 💜
