A proposito di questo titolo

Coach Streeter Unfiltered is straight-up, no-fluff coaching from a man who's walked the real-life trenches—parenting, marriage, leadership, failures, and victories—all through the lens of unshakeable faith in Christ.

Here, we don't sugarcoat the battles young adults and parents face today. We stand firm (1 Corinthians 16:13), charge forward with courage (Joshua 1:9), and lean into the truth that iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). This is Iron Sharp Coaching at its core: one believer sharpening another through honest conversations, biblical grit, and grace-filled encouragement. Whether you're a guy grinding through manhood or a woman seeking strength in your season, you're invited to get real, get grounded, and grow stronger together in Christ.

  • Nick Saban's Enemy #2 - Lack of Discipline: Small Lapses Lead to Big Failures
    Mar 18 2026

Lack of discipline doesn’t ruin greatness all at once—it ruins it one small lapse at a time. A skipped rep. A late arrival. A “just this once.” A drift in standards that slowly turns into a new normal. In this episode, I break down Nick Saban’s Enemy #2—Lack of Discipline—and why it quietly destroys teams, seasons, careers, marriages, and faith walks.

I also tie this one directly into my own story. I’ve lived what happens when discipline fades: you stop sweating details, culture starts slipping, and eventually you’re blaming circumstances instead of owning the standard. It didn’t happen overnight—it happened through small compromises that compounded over time.

Then we take it deeper: discipline isn’t just athletic—it’s spiritual. God designed an order for us—work and rest, rhythm and recovery—and when we ignore that for long enough, we start saying “I can’t handle more.” Sometimes that’s because we’ve strayed from His rhythm (Sabbath matters). Other times it’s because we’re not under enough meaningful stimulus to build endurance—comfort makes normal pressure feel like overload.

    In this episode:

    • Why “small lapses” become big failures (and how to spot them early)
    • The difference between motivation and discipline (Saban’s standard)
    • How my own lack of discipline showed up in coaching—and what it cost
    • Faith tie-in: self-control, obedience, and staying under God’s order
    • Practical standards: non-negotiables, closing the gaps fast, and rebuilding consistency

If you’re prepping for postseason, chasing a goal, or feeling like you’ve lost your edge—this is your standard reset.

Welcome to Coach Streeter Unfiltered. No fluff. Just truth.

  • Nick Saban's Enemy #1 - Entitlement + How to combat it?
    Feb 3 2026

In Episode 2 of the series on the Enemies of Greatness, we confront Enemy #1: Entitlement—the silent killer that turns champions into complainers and humble believers into demanding consumers.

Drawing from legendary coach Nick Saban's powerful words ("You get up every day, you're entitled to nothing... Nothing is acceptable but your best"), this episode exposes how past success, hard work, or even "good Christian behavior" can trick us into thinking we're owed more—without earning it daily. Hear the full clip where Saban breaks it down: success breeds the dangerous belief that you deserve rewards without the grind.

From the mat to everyday life, entitlement kills drive in wrestlers prepping for State Duals, Districts, and the big tournament. It shows up when we coast on past effort, complain through tough practices, or treat God like a vending machine for blessings. But grace isn't a paycheck—it's a daily gift of opportunity.

Tying it to Scripture (Proverbs 16:18 on pride before a fall, Ephesians 2 on grace preventing boasting, James 1 on every good gift from above, and 2 Thessalonians 3's no-work-no-eat principle), we explore how entitlement poisons faith, parenting, and competition. Wrestlers and parents: You're owed NOTHING but the chance to earn your best today. Greatness isn't the podium—it's the grateful, surrendered pursuit in the process.

Actionable steps to kill entitlement daily:

    • Start with gratitude
    • Serve others first
    • Embrace the grind as worship
    • Reflect on the Prodigal Son (Luke 15) and watch Bruce Almighty for eye-opening parallels

Challenge: Today and tomorrow, wake up entitled to nothing except God's best—and go earn it through grateful pursuit. No coasting, no demands, just daily surrender.

End with prayer and real talk from a former coach who's been broken by pride. If entitlement has struck a nerve—good. Let's expose and defeat it together.

Perfect for wrestlers, parents, coaches, and anyone chasing greatness with faith at the center. Subscribe for more in the Enemies of Greatness series!

  • The Rebrand + New Series: Crushing Saban's 5 Pitfalls -> The Intro
    Jan 27 2026

Coach Streeter Unfiltered is here. In this rebrand episode, I’m setting the tone for what this show is going to be: honest coaching talk, real life, and faith-forward leadership—no fluff, no playing it safe.

I break down Nick Saban’s “5 pitfalls against greatness” and translate them into what they look like in the real world—on a team, in a marriage, in a job, and in your own head. We talk about how good people drift, how standards slip, how comfort gets disguised as “balance,” and why greatness always demands a decision.

Most importantly, I tie it back to faith—because the fight for greatness isn’t just physical or mental, it’s spiritual. If you’ve been feeling stuck, distracted, or like you’ve lost your edge, this is the reset.

    In this episode:

    • What Saban’s 5 pitfalls actually look like day-to-day
    • How “average” sneaks in when you stop paying attention
    • Faith, discipline, and leadership when nobody’s watching
    • Why this rebrand matters—and what “Unfiltered” really means

Hit play and let’s raise the standard.
