The ladies on the panel discuss the violent mood changes that they experienced as teenagers and how these off the chart mood swings are complicated by PMS. The group also discussed society’s perverted interpretation of beauty that for many young teenage girls results in poor self-image, making them feel that they are “not pretty enough” or “not worthy enough.” The discussion then led into the consequences of a young girl in the first century claiming to be a virgin and becoming pregnant. In short, Deuteronomy 22 tells us that the law at that time required the young girl to be stoned to death. When Mary accepted the Angels proclamation that she would become pregnant with Jesus she was aware of these potential harsh consequences.
