Throughout our Lenten Journey this year, we've discussed and seen how Jesus often puts himself into "messy" situations to help us, or to make us better. Today we will touch on a messy situation Nicodemus tries to avoid. In our lives we want to avoid messy situations, but in todays journey you'll see what Jesus does and says as Nicodemus tries to avoid his messy situation.

Sometimes when things get messy, we can become "fickle". In our mess, Jesus never leaves us, but when things get messy, do we stray away from him? In today's episode, we will take a look at how fickle people can be when things get messy.

In life especially as we gain more wisdom, the first thing we like to do, is to avoid getting into any "mess" or messy situations, or avoid messy people. After-all, it can seem like a headache to be around or involved with certain people. But avoiding that situation or person sometimes, is not what we should do. Jesus often in the Bible, steps into the mess and illustrates how it can make us better and possibly the situation better.

Most people do not like to be interrupted. Interruptions, they disturb the control we think we have over a situation. It equates to mess in our lives for many of us. But sometimes interruptions aren't messy at all, they can become moments to grow, teach and to learn. In this weeks episode, Jesus shows us just that.

In today's episode of our Lent Messy series, we will learn together how to listen in the midst of our mess. Often when life gets messy , we forget to listen to God's voice as it's reaching out to us. We oftentimes miss God in multiple ways, when life gets messy. Today we will explore an example of this in part of the story of Mary and Martha.

As we continue in our messy series for Lent, today we will begin to face our messiness, and what that may be causing us to hold onto. Jesus asks us questions throughout our journey with him, but they are never for His benefit. Most of the times it is to foster the self-awareness of the person that may be stuck or messy. Today's podcast will do just that, and ask you a question to hopefully help us all to self-evaluate.

In todays episode, we will take a look at how Jesus is moved with compassion while being surrounded by the messiness of life. Jesus often looks at the messiness of his children as "sheep in need of a shepherd". Hopefully in todays podcast, we will begin to learn to have compassion and non -judgement for those that are in our lives, and surrounded by us.

In Today's episode we begin the season of Lent by examining our lives and seeing how messy our lives may be. Whether the messiness is spread over us, or whether we spread hot ourselves, let's face it, life can and is messy sometimes. Today's episode will remind and show us that Jesus himself has experienced our messiness in every way, and we will take a look and learn how he handled the messy when he encountered it.
