Spooky season gets brutally honest on this episode of SpitTake Podcast! Adam, Alex, and Stef dive into American Horror Story, Mike Flanagan’s Carrie, Evil Dead Burn, and Practical Magic 2, with horror reviews, Stephen King theories, and plenty of wildly inappropriate detours.

The crew debates whether American Horror Story’s character resurrections cheapen the stakes before exploring Carrie’s modern-day bullying, psychic powers, and potential connections to The Dark Tower and Stephen King’s shared universe. Adam shares his take on Evil Dead Burn, comparing its brutality with Evil Dead Rise and asking whether the franchise needs another hero like Ash Williams. Meanwhile, Stef explains why Practical Magic 2 delivers the sisterhood, nostalgia, and midnight margaritas she wanted.

Plus: Shane Gillis and comedy backlash, painfully long waits between TV seasons, Dancing with the Stars judging, and Alex’s chaotic review of The Island of Dr. Moreau. And because nothing ruins a horror marathon like the same insurance commercial on repeat, the crew takes aim at “Liberty Biberty” and celebrates the unforgettable “Berries and Cream.”
