Hey Roar-ee the Lion, it's Jenny with your Campus Update for December 1 through December 8. Let's get you set for the week—fast. First up—Monday, December 1, is the deadline to apply for your degree if you're aiming to graduate in May 2026. Don't miss this crucial step to ensure you're on track for commencement. Next, Monday also marks the last day to withdraw from Sub-term B courses with a "W" on your transcript. If you're considering this, make sure to act before the end of the day. Lastly, Monday is the final day of classes for the semester. Time to wrap up those projects and start prepping for finals! Over the weekend, our men's basketball team faced a tough game against Yale, ending with a close score of 68-65. Sophomore guard Alex Thompson stood out, scoring 20 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. Looking ahead, the Lions will host Harvard this Saturday at Levien Gymnasium. Let's pack the stands and show our support! On Monday, December 1, from 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm, the Harriman Institute is hosting a screening of "Holidays" (2022), directed by Antoine Cattin. It's a great opportunity to unwind and enjoy some thought-provoking cinema. Also, the Postcrypt Coffeehouse in St. Paul's Chapel continues its tradition of live acoustic music every Friday and Saturday night from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm. It's a cozy spot to enjoy performances by up-and-coming artists. For a quick bite between study sessions, check out the food trucks lined up along Amsterdam Avenue. From tacos to falafel, there's something to satisfy every craving. This week in Morningside Heights, expect a mix of sun and clouds. Tuesday brings a chance of rain and snow, so keep an umbrella handy. Temperatures will range from the low 30s to mid-40s. Remember to dress in layers to stay comfortable. Your move: If you're planning to graduate in May 2026, submit your degree application by Monday, December 1. Don't delay—ensure your spot in the commencement lineup! That's your quick Campus Update.
