In this episode of Worth More Than Rubies, we talk about what it truly means to have a heart of service.
Service is more than volunteering or doing something nice. It is love in action. It is sacrifice. It is pouring out a piece of yourself for the good of someone else. We reflect on Ephesians 5:2 and Matthew 25 and discuss how Christ models the ultimate example of service through His love and sacrifice.
We share personal stories from serving at food banks and how simple acts, even something as small as a smile, can make someone feel seen and valued. Often, we walk away receiving far more than we give.

One reminder we loved is that a tree does not think about making fruit. It simply abides in the soil. In the same way, when we stay rooted in God, service flows naturally from our relationship with Him.
Outward service begins in the quiet place. When we search for God, sit with Him, and find Him, serving becomes a response, not a performance.
