A Hidden World Beneath the Waves - With Professor Igor Adameyko

What if some of the most extraordinary creatures in the ocean are the ones we can't even see?

In this episode of Call of The Ocean, we are joined by Professor Igor Adameyko from the University of Vienna, who takes us on a fascinating journey into the microscopic world of marine life.

We discover how he travels with his microscope, why he is still finding surprises after 15 years of exploring marine plankton, and how climate change is affecting even the smallest of ocean life.

But this conversation is about more than science. It's about curiosity, discovery and the incredible beauty of a world that is often hidden from view.

Because sometimes, the smallest things have the biggest stories to tell.

Join us as we discover a whole new side of the ocean, one tiny creature at a time.

It all started with one plastic straw!

At just 7 years old, Cash Daniels found a plastic straw on a beach. That one small discovery sparked a passion for conservation that would grow into something quite extraordinary.

Now 17, Cash has spent the last 10 years cleaning up the rivers, protecting wildlife and inspiring others to get involved. He's removed over 50,000 pounds of rubbish, created his own nonprofit organisation, Wild Earth Defenders, and even written 3 books!

We had a lovely chat with Cash about his journey, the people who've inspired him, his love of sharks and what keeps him motivated to make a difference.

It's an inspiring story and wonderful reminder that you don't have to live near the ocean to help protect it. Sometimes, the smallest things really can lead to the biggest changes.

Come and join us for this lovely conversation.

What happens when two marine biologists build a life around the ocean?

In this episode we meet Emily Cunningham MBE and Dr Daniel Moore, husband and wife, marine biologists, explorers and the couple behind Marine Biology Life.

From extraordinary encounters in some of the wildest places on Earth to discovering what lies far beneath the surface, they have more than a few stories to tell.

Somewhere along the way, those experiences helped inspire a book - Ocean to Save - with a rather important message at it's heart.

Two people. Two remarkable lives. One shared connection to the Ocean
