In honor of black history month, today we are telling the story of Emmett Till. A young teenager who was taken from his bed, tortured, and murdered for allegedly flirting with a white woman. This story is gruesome and heart-breaking, but this case helped to spark change in our society. I hope we can all listen to this story and be aware of the injustice so that we can keep moving forward and making change.
