In this very special conversation, I talk to Catherine Joy White - a beacon of light in the world.

Cat is an actress, author, producer and gender advisor to the United Nations. She also runs her own production company, Kusini Productions, which is dedicated to creating opportunities and championing the voices of black women. In 2022, she was included in Forbes' 30 under 30 list.

In her poignant and uplifting book, 'This Thread of Gold', Cat inspires us with the stories of how black women through history have found a way to survive and thrive in the face of oppression. It's a gorgeous read and I highly recommend it (linked below).

For someone so accomplished and successful, Cat is disarmingly humble and gracious. Her passion thrums through her, and listening to her makes you feel like everything is possible.
