• Ep 156: Discern Your Filters
    Jan 13 2026
Our past conditioning heavily influences our discernment. Constantly, our filters operate subconsciously and are often misaligned with who we are as divine beings. Only when we begin to question our own filters do we open ourselves to true alignment. The foundational filter is fear or love. Without actively choosing to see the world through the lens of love, our default filter becomes fear. The world we see and the life we create are drastically different from both perspectives. Therefore, it is critical to be clear on the many filters we currently have and to constantly question whether they are supportive as we grow. In heightened fear, discernment goes out the window Train our brains to constantly discern about our filter Being able to distinguish judging vs. being judgmental Dilemma of willingness to change your filter When we stop questioning our views, we have fake discernment Having deep, intentional, moral-shaking conversations to refine discernment To have good discernment is also to have good empathy ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 155: O.F.G. January 2026
    Jan 6 2026
O.F.G. means opportunities for growth. Every situation we experience presents a seemingly infinite number of growth opportunities towards becoming the highest version of ourselves. However, it is up to us to train our minds to identify the opportunities and to integrate our hearts in the process. In this series of episodes, Jeff and Tatsu illustrate their thought processes when triggered by people and events in their lives. • Ep 154: FOMO
    Dec 30 2025
Based on generational conditioning, FOMO appears to be an unavoidable trap. Our natural tendency to compare ourselves with others facilitates more disempowerment than empowerment. In these cases, fear is the root motivator. And as long as fear drives our thoughts, feelings, and actions, we will continue to deplete and shrink ourselves. We will continue to limit our potential. But what would be possible if we trained our minds to leverage comparison for inspiration instead? FOMO and expectations Negative comparison and sense of lack Not being 100% content with where we are Fear sells Fear of death We’re not curious enough about our FOMO Fear as a motivator sucks Leveraging comparison for inspiration ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 153: False Pride?
    Dec 23 2025
Pride is an interesting quality. It can be fueled by love, fear, or both. We are often unaware of how pride impacts our daily behaviors because the line between self-acceptance and insecurity can be so well disguised subconsciously. Pride can be defined negatively or positively. Either way is fine. But it is important to be intentional about our behavior and aware of how effectively we convey our message. Negative connotations with pride Pride and confidence Positive spins on pride How you speak and act shows your flavor of pride What’s your intention with pride? Comparison is not necessarily negative Shifting your definition of pride ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 152: How Do You Communicate? (Part 2)
    Dec 16 2025
Communication is truly a complex art. Authentic communication is an even more complex art. Louder doesn’t mean more right or effective. And silence doesn’t mean a weaker position or lack of perspective. What’s important is to notice how we receive information and how we express it. Are we trying to be right and prove a point? What is the energy driving our speaking? How much do we care about understanding the perspectives of the other side? To become an authentic communicator requires patience, trust, faith, vulnerability, courage, and a deep, loving sense of safety within oneself. We’re not seeking to understand first and foremost The dilemma of communicating wants and needs The louder we are, the less we’re heard Everything doesn’t have to be a debate Lack of safety in communication Trying to fix our lack of “good enoughness” ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 150: Lessons From Children
    Dec 2 2025
Children are powerful teachers for us on our journey of self-realization. They can be catalysts of unconditional love, the worst fear imaginable, frustration to the extent of questioning our sanity, and brilliant inspiration all in one day! Through our experience with children, we are reminded of dualities, such as order and chaos or security and insecurity. We also experience the dynamic relationship between freedom and responsibility. Arguably, the most important reasons for our experiences with children are for deeper self-love and self-acceptance. But this only comes with much continuous internal reflection. Natural curiosity to keep probing Curiosity coming from inspiration or fear Preparing for uncertainty is almost ridiculous Fearlessness to explore and be fully in the moment Ability to bounce back When kids lie Openness with emotions and physical needs ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi

  • Ep 149: You Reap What You Sow
    Nov 25 2025
The concept of sowing and reaping is employed as both a fear tactic and a motivational tool. While both are valid in their uses, we tend to overemphasize the reaping portion of the concept. Since we want some result or outcome, we will sow. However, what is most important is how we consistently show up when we sow, regardless of the result. This exposes our true purpose for sowing and whether our act of sowing is authentic. EPISODE SUMMARY Most of us were raised with a fear-driven model People’s shared experience of you will show up in the long run Faux sowing Unattachment to when you reap You can’t engineer relationships We can only control the sowing ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi
