In this episode we are chatting with Tyian Battle, Founder + Executive of ACH Clear Pathways and When She Thrives 2019 Legacy Builder Honoree. ACH Clear Pathways is a non-profit organization bringing performing and visual art to youth and family in the Pittsburgh area.
In this episode Tyian shares her journey of creating opportunities for the youth in her community to have access to the arts after her son, who was passionate about the arts passed away. Tyian talks about the power of allowing your pain and passion to fuel your purpose, the importance of self-care as you build your legacy and being intentional about the team and framily you build and surround yourself with. She also speaks transparently about how she refused to allow the struggles of being a single mom, or fear to stop her.
