    In 1997, Mac planted Carolina Forest Community Church in Myrtle Beach, SC. He later served as Leadership Development Pastor at Seacoast Church in Charleston, where he helped create scalable systems to identify and equip leaders at every level. In 2010, he became the founding architect of the LAUNCH Church Planting Network, a model adopted by the North American Mission Board, where he served as a leadership strategist.

He’s the author of seven books, including The Multiplication Effect, Leading Others, and Leading Yourself, a practical training guide with a foreword by John C. Maxwell.

  • Tim Walton - University of Florida Head Softball Coach On Building A Winning Culture & Sustaining Excellence

    #244: Tim Walton is the head coach of the University of Florida Gators softball program where he has led the team since 2006 and amassed well over 1,000 career victories, numerous SEC titles and Women’s College World Series appearances, including back-to-back national championships in 2014 and 2015. He has been selected 5 times as the SEC Coach of Year and was inducted into the NFCA Hall of Fame.

    Walton has also made significant contributions on the international stage, serving as an assistant coach with the USA Women’s National Team, helping guide Team USA to medals at events such as the World Games, Pan American Games, and WBSC World Cup, as well as assisting the U.S. junior national teams to world titles

    Before coaching, Walton played collegiate baseball at Oklahoma and briefly in the Philadelphia Phillies’ minor league system; he also coached at Wichita State and served as an assistant at Oklahoma early in his career.

  • Dave Berke - Former Marine Fighter Pilot, TOPGUN Instructor, & Chief Development Officer for Echelon Front On The Need to Lead

    #243: Dave Berke is a retired US Marine Corps Officer, TOPGUN Instructor, and now a leadership instructor and speaker with Echelon Front, where he serves as Chief Development Officer. As a F/A-18 pilot, he deployed twice from the USS John C Stennis in support of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He spent three years as an Instructor Pilot at TOPGUN, where he served as the Training Officer and the senior staff pilot responsible for the conduct of the TOPGUN course.

    He then served as an ANGLICO Forward Air Controller supporting the Army’s 1st Armored Division during extensive urban combat operations on the ground in Ramadi, Iraq in 2006. Dave led his supporting arms liaison team on scores of combat missions into the most dangerous neighborhoods and accompanied SEAL Task Unit Bruiser on virtually every major operation in the Battle of Ramadi.

    He was the only Marine selected to fly the F-22 Raptor, having served as an exchange officer at the Air Force’s 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron as the Division Commander. He became the first operational pilot ever to fly and be qualified in the F-35B, serving as the Commanding Officer of the Marine Corps’ first F-35 squadron from 2012-2014.

    Dave holds both a Master's in International Public Policy and an MBA from The John Hopkins University.

    Upon his retirement from the Marine Corps, Dave joined Echelon Front providing unmatched experience and a unique perspective on combat leadership, analytical decision making, risk mitigation, and creating winning teams.

    He serves as Echelon Front’s Chief Development Officer, as well as a leadership instructor, speaker, and strategic advisor.

  • Steve Largent - Seattle Seahawks & NFL Hall Of Fame Wide Receiver On Faith, Focus, & Principles To A Great Marriage

    #242: Steve Largent is a NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver who spent 14 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. When he retired he held all of the major NFL receiving records.

    Steve played at the University of Tulsa where he was an All American. He was drafted in the 4th round of the 1976 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. After the preseason with the Oilers Steve was cut, but signed with Seattle and the rest is history. During his time in Seattle he was a 7x Pro Bowl selection, 2x NFL Receiving Yards leader, the NFL Man of the Year Award Recipient, just to name a few of his accolades. His number 80 has been retired by the Seahawks and number 83 has been retired by the University of Tulsa. In 1995 he was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.

    However, before all of his football success Steve overcame a lot of adversity from his upbringing with an absent father and alcoholic stepfather, which he shares.

    After his time in the NFL he served as a member of the US House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002 and ran for Governor in the state of Oklahoma. He also served as the CEO of CTIA - The Wireless Association for 10 years.

    On the show he shares his story, playing in the NFL, forgiveness, overcoming challenges, the importance of relationships, principles to 50 year marriage, being a great dad, pursing excellence, the power of focus, leadership, and his faith and how it changed his life.

    #240: Jerry Colangelo is the founder and former owner of the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks, as well as Managing Director of USA Basketball.

    He is a 4x NBA Executive of the Year, former NBA GM & Head Coach, Chairman of the Basketball Hall of Fame, founder of multiple sports franchises, and also started with Dick Klein to found the Chicago Bulls.

    The accolades are endless, but he additionally won a world championship with the Diamondbacks and returned the once-tarnished U.S. Olympic men’s basketball team to glory. As Chairman of USA Basketball, Colangelo created a team that brought home the Gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, another in the 2012 London Olympics, again in the 2016 Olympic games in Rio, and most recently in 2021 in Tokyo.

    Having served as Chairman and CEO, general manager, and head coach of the Phoenix Suns, Colangelo boasts the second longest tenure with one franchise in the NBA.
