On this very psychedelic episode of BFGE, Emma and Sarah take a girls' trip to the Japanese countryside to watch the uncategorizable Japanese masterpiece, Hausu (1977). Join us as we discuss:

• How many fancy cats were heaved into frame to make this film?
• Are Sarah's curmudgeon's levels getting out of control?
• Is Emma wrong for being infatuated (perhaps romantically) with a GOOP Sweet Potato?
• Why do men always turn into fruit at the worst times?
• Netflix lighting v. Hausu lighting

On this chronically online episode of BFGE, Emma grants Sarah's singular birthday wish: that she watch BACKROOMS, the viral indie hit from newcomer Kane Parsons. Join us as we discuss:

- Should modern women get a part time job during law school so their ex-husbands don't become bitter alcoholics who live in their discount furniture store and then spawn giant demented rudimentary pirate versions of themselves in another dimension?

- Is therapy for chumps?

- Who's buying all the Benjamin Moore "SPOOKY YELLOW"?

- Would you eat the Backrooms stomach fluff?

- Other fun liminal films!
