Just based on the trailer we felt it was a bit Colleen Hoover’s “Verity” coded… but soooo much better! Starring Amanda Seyfried, Sydney Sweeney, Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone this movie was well worth going to see.

“Lightning really does strike twice.” We went to yet another surprise mystery movie at our local theater and it was “Song Sung Blue” starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. A real life love story about Thunder and Lightning a Neil Diamond experience. It comes out in theaters on December 25th. It’s a true story so like another mystery movie we went and saw (episode 48) it’s not really a spoiler alert type situation but kinda is… so proceed as you need to for listening to this episode!

“I’m so glad we saw that!” Our season 5 premiere is the delightful movie “Bugonia” starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons. Is she or isn’t she an alien? Is he or isn’t he batshit fucking crazy? This keeps you guessing all throughout the whole thing… even when his detached head flies out of the closet and headbutts her in the face… and even then you still kinda don’t know. Oh, what a delightfully weird little movie this was! We loved it so much and we think you will too!

“I have her phone! Hee hee hee!” Our season 4 finale! We’re discussing Selena Winters’ book “Carnival Nightmare.” While on a road trip to go get our hair done we decided to talk about this book so that’s your heads up that there’s gonna be road noise. And yeah… we make an hour and a half long road trip every couple of months to get our hair done because our hair stylist is that fucking good! You’re AWESOME, Nicole! Moving on… “Carnival Nightmare” is a dark stalking romance written by Selena Winters and it’s a part of her Carnival series… obviously! It’s got lots of stalking, lots of sex, lots of murder and mayhem! Everything a good dark romance needs!
