A proposito di questo titolo
During World War II, the Office of Strategic Services, the predecessor to the CIA, published the Simple Sabotage Field Manual. It equipped ordinary citizens in German-occupied countries with ways to disrupt enemy organizations from within.
Some of its tactics to disrupt meetings? (These are exact quotes from the now-declassified manual):
- “Bring up irrelevant issues as frequently as possible.”
- “Haggle over precise wordings of communications, minutes, resolutions.”
- “Refer back to matters decided upon at the last meeting and attempt to re-open the question of the advisability of that decision.”
There’s a reason these tactics were in a sabotage manual: they make it painfully difficult for a group to decide and move.
Next time your team does this, point out that they’re using sabotage techniques straight from a CIA handbook.
