It’s the season finale ! Heather and Sean wrap up the first season of Breaking The Law talking about how Las or more like how law isn’t taught to us in schools.

The verdict is in. The gavel comes down. And then what?

In episode seven, Heather and Sean step outside the courtroom and into the part of the justice system most people would rather not think about — what actually happens after sentencing. Prison. Rehabilitation. The labels that follow people long after they've served their time, and the systems that were supposedly built to help but often do the opposite.

This one goes deeper. How do we measure justice — not just as a legal outcome, but as something that means something to real people? What does rehabilitation actually look like when it works? And how do we stop losing young people to a path before they've had a fair chance to choose a different one?

You've seen them in films. Slick offices, sharp suits, someone dramatically slamming a folder on a desk. But what actually goes on inside a law firm — and does any of it look like that?

In episode six, Heather pulls back the curtain on law firms. What they are, how they're structured, what different types exist and why it matters which one you end up walking into. It's more interesting than it sounds, and it sounds pretty interesting.

Courts. The place where the law stops being theoretical and gets very, very real.

In episode five, Heather takes Sean inside the court system — how it's structured, how it actually functions, and why the gap between what people think happens in a courtroom and what actually happens is wider than most of us would like to believe.

Sean's mind gets blown. More than once. On record.

Making a law is one thing. Actually enforcing it is something else entirely.

In episode four, Heather and Sean turn their attention to the people and systems tasked with making sure the law means something in practice — from civil disputes to criminal cases, and everything in between. Who decides what gets enforced? Who decides what doesn't? And what happens when the power to enforce the law gets a little too comfortable with itself?

There are answers. There are also tangents. Several of them. None of them planned, all of them worth it.

Breaking the Law — come for the law, stay for the chaos.

You've probably seen the cartoon. A little piece of paper with a face, sitting on the steps of Capitol Hill, explaining how he might one day become a law. Sweet, simple, optimistic.

The reality, it turns out, is none of those things.

Heather and Sean get into the actual mechanics — how does a law get made? Who proposes it, who argues about it, who quietly rewrites it at midnight, and how does something that started as a good idea end up looking nothing like one by the time it passes?
