    May 22 2023

Happy long weekend readers! If you're new here, welcome to our bookclub, Books over Bevies, the podcast where we read locally themed books and ramble on about them. This episode is PRE: Branding Queens, where we talk about our first impressions, topics we think might come up and little about the author. This time it was Roisin that pulled out her soapbox (VOTE) and Eddy is ready to add to their argument Rolodex.

    .

Kim Rozdeba is a Calgarian who was selling their book at Indigo stores for Women's day and raising funds for the Women's shelter. You may be able to find a copy at our next New Moon market where we will have second hand books available if you want to come by, check us out on instagram for the details! The market is also where we got our beverage for today, a golden turmeric tea latte that tasted like COOKIES.

    .

We hope you enjoyed this week's Episode, our next episode will be Pending: Branding Queens where we talk about what we've read so far. Please feel free to follow along, but definitely follow us on Instagram @booksoverbevies or email us a book recommendation to booksoverbeverages@gmail.com
