After graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1980 with a degree in Drama, Bobby Poynton decided to head to Hollywood to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. With $500, a beat up sports car and his Dad's credit card, he began his journey to seek fortune and fame!
Like many who head to Hollywood to try an make it show biz, Bobby lived a meager existence for many years. However, he was able to get enough work to keep his dream alive! Today, he continues to tour with the vocal trio called the Letterman. The Letterman have recorded many gold albums and performed all over the world for over 50 years!
Bobby, his wife Beth and daughter Callie live in Monticello, IL. Enjoy Bobby's story!
