We are two weeks into spooky season, and two weeks into Vampire Lore month. DId you know that New England had a vampire scare much like the witch hunts? People believed that corpses were rising from the grave at night to drink the blood of their victims? Well, this story covers that panic, and the story of Mercy Brown, the last American vampire story. Count Panek and Bob and speak to Northwest Indiana Pagan Pride about their event on 10/17 that Bob is MCing, and hosting a workshop.

It's been a wild week here at Bob After Dark. We started our weekend off at Wickedly Whiting, which was a blast! We hope to speak there again in the future. Then Bob headed to The Rock Island Esoteric Expo to vend. He made a ton of new contacts, so greetings new comers that came from that show! Now, onto the Paraflixx announcement...that you will just have to wait and listen to see what happens there. Then we get to this week's topic, the legend of the Jure Grando, one of the first recorded people as a "vampire."

This week we had not one but two guests on this week. First, we talk to Victoria from Wickedly Whiting, a festival held in Whiting, Indiana. It's a two day outdoor event celebrating all things spooky! Bob and Count Panek will be speaking there live on Friday October 1st at 6:00 PM CT. Then, the boys talk to Ed Levin from SPIRE Paranormal, a group whom investigates homes and businesses. Ed has been a paranormal investigator for 14 years, and had many stories to share with us including a ghost lurking in a Chicago basement who made the room smell like beer, and answered on a spirit box that only mustard goes on a hotdog.
