A proposito di questo titolo
Why are so many Black men across the United States being found hanging - and why are every one of them almost immediately dismissed with "no signs of foul play" without any real investigation? Yes, I'm referring to now, modern-day.
The trend has become too strong to ignore. It's time to confront the disturbing rise in suspicious hanging deaths of Black men in America. It's time to bring these stories to the fore-front, get eyes and ears on them, because the media is not. It's time to ask the real questions surrounding the circumstances. Were these deaths truly "by their own hand"... or is something far more sinister at play?
Today we'll look at such cases as the one involving Donte Perez Jones, a military veteran whose 2022 death was declared as having no foul play involved, within hours, despite multiple suspicious circumstances. As well as a 21 year old truck driver, Javion MaGee, found dead far from his Chicago home in a town he'd never been before.
These aren't isolated incidents or simple tragedies. These cases along with so many more, fit a pattern that echoes America's darkest, ugliest part of history. All too often a history that's too uncomfortable for many to address, keeping the too uncomfortable conversations that are so needed, silenced. Well guess what, I really have zero concern as to the comfort level of those who'd rather ignore the truth and allow this to continue, than acknowledge it and stand for justice and accountability from law enforcement.
Pretending it doesn't exist, doesn't make it go away. Standing up and calling it out, does.
Subscribe and stay tuned, we're just getting started.
