• Haunted At The High Table: The Ghost Who Wanted The Dose
    Oct 29 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

On Halloween night, an oven in an old Vermont farmhouse turned itself on and climbed to exactly 240°F, which is decarb temperature. In this year’s Halloween cannabis edibles story, the Bite Me Cannabis Club gathers for our second annual High Table. A nervous first-time member finds a hidden recipe card from 1931 with one line left blank: “Strength.” What follows is a spooky, funny story about a ghost who wants an answer, a town that once got very high by accident and a community that refuses to let a beginner bake alone.

This Halloween, pull up a chair, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people stop baking blind.

  • Cannabis Cheese Straws: Herb and Cheese Fatties From Snoop Dogg's Treats to Eat
    Oct 22 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

I pulled the tray out of the oven, looked at what I’d made, and laughed out loud. My first attempt at Herb and Cheese Fatties came out thick and goofy, more “campfire log” than cheese straw, even though they still tasted decent. So I did what I always do when I’m testing a cannabis edibles recipe: I made it again, fixed the variables, and took notes you can actually use.

We walk through Herb and Cheese Fatties from Snoop Dogg’s Treats to Eat, including the savory ingredient list, smart cheese swaps for Gruyere, and the step-by-step method for mixing, rolling, baking, and storing. Then I share the two biggest troubleshooting lessons: weigh your flour (a kitchen scale saves batches), and don’t be afraid to add a splash more cream if your dough is dry and shaggy because your cheese, your butter temperature, and even your kitchen can change the texture.

If you like practical cannabis cooking tips, subscribe, share this with a friend who loves savory edibles, and leave a review so more home makers can find the show.

  • Cannabis Hot Apple Cider: Why I Dose the Mug, Not the Pot
    Oct 15 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Your house smells like cinnamon and orange peel, the pot is bubbling, and everyone wants a mug. The problem with most cannabis-infused drinks is simple: when you infuse the whole pot, you lock everyone into the same edible dose, even though real-life gatherings are full of different tolerances, preferences, and people who are staying sober. Today I’m sharing the approach I wish I’d used years ago: make the cider for everyone, then add cannabis to each mug with precision.

If you try this cider, tell me how you dosed it and how it went. Subscribe, share this with your favorite kitchen nerd, and leave a review so more people can learn safer, smarter edible dosing.

  • Edibles Head Math: How to Read a Cannabis Label Without a Calculator
    Oct 8 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Tiny print, too many numbers, and a dispensary line that keeps moving. Cannabis edible labels are a perfect setup for bad math and accidental overconsumption, so we’re fixing it with something you can do anywhere: quick mental math for THC dosing that actually matches how people shop and cook. We want you to glance at a package and immediately know whether you’re looking at a cautious nibble or a whole night.

If this helped you feel more confident reading a cannabis label, share it with a friend who has ever eaten the whole chocolate bar by accident, then subscribe and leave a review so more people can dose smarter.

  • Cannabis Terroir: How Place Shapes the Flower in Your Jar
    Oct 1 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

A sun-warm tomato in August and a grocery-store tomato in February can share the same genetics and still taste like two different worlds. That’s the doorway into cannabis terroir: the idea that place shapes what ends up in your jar, not through magic, but through sun, temperature, fog, water, soil life, harvest timing, and the human choices that turn a crop into great flower.

If you’re ready to notice more than a THC number, press play, share this with a friend who swears all weed tastes the same, and subscribe so you don’t miss what we’re testing next. If you like the show, leave a review and tell us what you noticed when you slowed down and actually smelled the jar?

  • What Prohibition Teaches Us About Cannabis: The Alcohol Comparison Nobody Wants to Have
    Sep 24 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

A costume-party Prohibition story falls apart fast when you look at the body count. I’m digging into a fact I didn’t know until recently and can’t stop thinking about: an estimated 10,000 Americans died from poisoned alcohol during Prohibition, and a meaningful share of that harm traces back to deliberate government policy. When you criminalize something people still want, the demand doesn’t evaporate. The supply chain changes hands, quality control disappears, and the risk shifts onto the public.

If this sparks thoughts about legalization, regulation, or repair, I want to hear them. Subscribe, share this with a friend who loves policy history, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

  • Same Soil, Same Hands: The Hidden History of Cannabis and the Organic Food Movement
    Sep 17 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

A tomato vine on a scrap-wood fence. A few chickens underfoot. And right there in the same Northern California garden, cannabis thriving in the exact same soil. That image unlocks a bigger truth: cannabis didn’t grow up as a separate cultural timeline. It rose beside the American organic food movement, driven by the same questions about trust, chemicals, and who gets to decide what’s “safe” to put in our bodies.

I walk through the roots of that shift, starting with Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring and the growing suspicion of industrial farming. From there, we head into the back-to-the-land era, when thousands of people left cities to grow their own food, build co-ops, share techniques, and opt out of systems they no longer believed in. In Northern California’s Emerald Triangle, that mindset often meant one homestead, two crops: vegetables for the table and cannabis for the pipe, tended by the same hands with the same compost and the same values.

We also name the messy parts. Cannabis becomes an income source for many communities. Organic and cannabis both go mainstream, and regulation brings real benefits in consistency and safety, while also turning living philosophies into labels, packaging, and premium markups. I bring it back to the kitchen where it belongs: if you’ve ever felt that back-to-the-land spark while making infused butter, dialing in your dose, or choosing your own ingredients for homemade edibles and topicals, you’re part of a much longer story than you might realize.

  • Do Terpenes Survive Your Edibles?
    Sep 10 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

“Full spectrum” gets tossed around like a promise, but the science behind terpenes is a lot less romantic once heat enters the picture. Today I’m doing a reality check on a question edible makers ask constantly: do terpenes actually survive your edibles, or are we mostly buying into a story because it sounds better than the alternative?
