Post Malone Biography Flash a weekly Biography. Post Malone’s past few days have been defined by country crossovers, touring turbulence, and a nostalgic look back at his origin story. Holler reports that his Big Ass Stadium tour dates across Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia have been canceled, freeing him up to hunker down in the studio as he finishes his upcoming album The Eternal Buzz, and pushing attention toward his recently debuted country track Chrome Heartbreaker, first unveiled at the FIFA World Cup Final closing ceremony. Holler also notes he has publicly committed to releasing two albums this year, a potentially pivotal biographical turning point that cements his long game in both pop and country. On the catalog side, Italian music outlet Newsic notes that Post has just issued his 2016 mixtape August 26th to digital platforms for the first time in a remastered 10th‑anniversary edition, bringing the project that foreshadowed his genre‑blending trajectory to a new audience and locking in an important archival milestone. German outlet Ad‑hoc‑News further highlights that the August 26 project is also being reissued as streaming and vinyl, underlining how seriously he now curates his legacy and early work. Tour news remains complicated. Ad‑hoc‑News describes Post spending much of 2026 on the road with Jelly Roll as part of The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 through major North American stadiums, while commentary‑style YouTube coverage from LA Magazine and others alleges canceled or underperforming shows and questions whether stadiums are being fully sold. Those YouTube claims are speculative, opinion‑driven, and not yet backed by hard box‑office data, and should be treated as unconfirmed gossip rather than verified reporting. Separately, the South China Morning Post recently noted a delay to a planned Hong Kong show, prompting fan complaints and adding another wrinkle to his international touring narrative. Emotionally, one of the most biographically resonant moments this week has been his public mourning of Dolly Parton. Country outlet Whiskey Riff and iHeart’s Soft Rock 98.9 describe Post raising a “massive toast” onstage in her honor, wearing a Dolly shirt, pouring out a beer, and talking about the kindness and generosity she showed him, a deeply personal tribute tied to their earlier collaboration on his country debut F‑1 Trillion. That kind of public grieving, captured and amplified on fan accounts like Extra Posty on Instagram, frames Post not just as a chart star but as a younger artist consciously positioning himself within a lineage of country legends. There are also ongoing industry whispers of future collaborations in Nashville. Holler notes producer Charlie Handsome’s continuing ties to both Post Malone and Morgan Wallen, hinting at more collaborative country material in the pipeline, though no new tracks have been formally announced and any such projects remain in the realm of informed speculation rather than confirmed news. That’s the latest chapter in the Post Malone story, where tour drama, country reinvention, and legacy‑minded reissues are all converging at once.
