- How many guys are franchise changing? 7 total guys.
- Garland and Mitchell are bad defensively. But Jarret Allen and Mobley will fix everything.
- Simmons says Mitchell is basically a top offensive talent to give u 35 on a night during the playoffs when offense is harder to come by.
- Simmons LOVES mobley and mentions duncan, and to his credit, russilo politely calls him out on that. But Simmons point is that the cavs picks are worth less than the knicks picks bc cavs are great. Great point. 2 unprotected knicks picks a few yrs from now are worth WAY more than any other team incl this cavs team.
- Knicks passing on the trade. We explain why Quentin Grimes was basically untouchable.
- Simmons makes a great point about ‘sam presti’s black magic’ - the more picks a GM accumulates, the longer they can keep their job.
- Simmons warns against rising salary cap and high contracts. Which is why draft picks will be worth more very soon. Locked in contracts.
- Sexton - good stats bad team guy. Sexton is lucky to get his 72 million. He wanted 4/120. But he saw what happened w another small guard in the NBA.
