 ভুবনডাঙা পডকাস্টে পরস্পরের সঙ্গে আলাপচারিতায় থাকছেন অর্ণা শীল ও অপরাজিতা সেনগুপ্ত। অর্ণা সমাজতত্ত্ব নিয়ে গত ৩০ বছর ধরে গবেষণা, প্রশিক্ষণ ও প্রয়োগে আছেন, গান-গল্প লেখেন, ছোট বড় সবাইকে গল্প বলতে ভালোবাসেন আর বাড়িতে জৈব সবজির বাগান করেন।
অপরাজিতা ১২ বছর আগে ইংরিজি অধ্যাপনা ছেড়ে জৈব চাষের জীবনে আসেন, এবং সেই থেকে নিজে জৈব পদ্ধতিতে পরিবারের খাদ্য উৎপন্ন করেন, সঙ্গে চাষ এবং পার্মাকালচার প্রশিক্ষণ দেন। অপরাজিতা সপরিবারে কুকুর বেড়াল মাছ হাঁস নিয়ে একটি খামারেই বাস করেন।
দুজনের দীর্ঘদিনের আড্ডায় বার বার উঠে এসেছে চোখের সামনে প্রকট হয়ে ওঠা পরিবেশের নানা অসুখের কথা, আর সেইসঙ্গে বিষমুক্ত খাবার বা ধোঁওয়াবিন হাওয়া যে আদতে আগামী প্রজন্মের অধিকার, সেই কথাও।

    ভুবনডাঙার এই পর্বে Disappearing Dialogues এর সংস্থার কর্ণধার নবীনা গুপ্তার সঙ্গে কথালাপে রয়েছেন অর্ণা ও অপরাজিতা। বিষয় পূর্ব কলকাতা জলাভূমি। কলকাতা শহরের ঐতিহ্য, পূর্ব কলকাতার জলাভূমি। সারা বিশ্বে স্বীকৃত এই আংশিক প্রকৃতি-ভিত্তিক, আংশিক মানব-সৃষ্ট জলাভূমিটি ময়লা জল ব্যবহার করে একটা প্রাকৃতিক পরিশোধন ব্যবস্থার দৃষ্টান্ত সৃষ্টি করেছে। কিন্তু শুধু এইটুকু বললেই গল্পটা শেষ হয়না। কীভাবে ১০০ বছরের বেশী সময় ধরে একটা শহরকে বাঁচিয়ে রেখেছে এই জলাভূমি আর তার বাসিন্দারা, আর তাকে নষ্ট করলে এই শহর আর অঞ্চলের পরিণতিই বা কী হবে তাও শুনব আমরা। তাকে বাঁচাতে আমরাই বা কী করতে পারি তাও শুনব নবীনার কথায়। আসুন শুনি।
