In a world filled with fear and tribalism, the church has a unique opportunity to stand out and show something different. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. But how can we reflect, serve, and shape our community in a way that glorifies God? In this episode, Mark discusses the importance of being seen in the community as a church and as individuals. Key Takeaways: - We as Christians should let their light shine and be a positive influence in the community. - The analogy of salt and light highlights the importance of adding flavour and enhancing the lives of others, as well as illuminating the darkness and guiding others towards Jesus. - Unity and love within the church are essential for reflecting Jesus' light to the world. - Christians should serve and benefit others, showing the love of Jesus in their actions. - Prayer is a powerful tool for seeking God's vision & guidance for the church and the community. flbc.org.au
