The last episode of Beauty Beyond the Ashes Episode was one that stuck with me so immensely, that I had to do a Part 2 to dissect and digest it with my friend and fellow "Life Matters" advocate, Becky Girola.

The previous episode was the first in a series entitled, "The Voice of a Father," where I am having Beauty Conversations with men who have been abortion-affected.

Nyles Pinckney gave extraordinary details of his abortion experience and what happened before and after. Many are not aware that there is a "crisis mode" before the abortion and an "aftermath" after the aboriton. Nyles did an amazing job detailing the full spectrum.

So much so, I had to have a conversation with Becky, Director of ABC Pregnancy Resource Center, to breakdown the missing components that could very well have helped Nyles and his partner make ABC (A Better Choice) during their crisis pregnancy.

These conversations are much needed to help explore the FACTS surrounding an abortion choice. It's not as cut and dry as many people feel it is and/or should be. Life just doesn't work that way.

Becky does an excellent job of helping open the minds and hearts of the Pro-Life community and explain what needs to be done to "LOVE THEM BOTH!"

Prior to walking into my healing journey from the wounds of abortion, I never thought about how a father might feel after an abortion experience. If I'm honest, I was too broken to deal with anyone else's feelings.

I thank God for the road of healing and the understanding that abortion affects far more than the woman who endures one. I have come to understand that the father is affected far more than I ever thought possible.

I have come to understand...The Voice of a Father!

Welcome to the final episode of Season 5 and the wrap-up of Abortion Recovery Awareness Month!

God was very intentional about His alignment of my podcast episodes for the month of April. And this ending episode it so evident of this.

As we continue to recognize Abortion Recovery Awareness Month, we bring another amazing Beauty Conversation. I have had some amazing conversations with some spectacular women. But this one....my mind is blown!!!

I had the pleasure of chatting with my special guest, Mrs. Sylvia Blakely. And it was like chatting it up with a dear sister/friend! And I think that's what we have quickly become.

Sylvia shares a bit of her abortion story but the highlight is what God has done with that story for His glory. The Beauty!!! It emanates from deep with Sylvia. God's light shines so brightly within her. I pray that light draws you closer to God and allows you to bring your heartache, your shame, your pain....and leave it at the feet of Jesus.

Once again, God took a broken heart and transformed it into a beautiful example of freedom. And now, Sylvia is leading the way for God's daughter to Arise! And Fly Free!

In this episode of Beauty Beyond the Ashes, I have an amazing beauty conversation with one of my fellow laborers in the abortion recovery space, Mrs. Brittany Poppe!

Through the ashes of her past, Brittany, like many of us in the abortion recovery space, has risen like a phoenix to show other women the way to recovery. With me, Brittany shares with candid insight, the details of her abortion experience as well as the magnificence of her abortion recovery journey.

As we are in the midst of Abortion Recovery Awareness Month, I wanted to bring to the forefront the need to understand that abortion does cause wounds, but there is forgiveness, healing, and JOY on the that exists and is waiting on the other side of the recovery process.

I have to ask because sometimes we hold on to the pain for punishment. We hold on to the resentment to hold others to accountability.

But when we do this, we allow the enemy to hold us hostage!

We must stop and ask ourselves..."Am I ready AND am I WILLING to heal?"
