Travis Lindsay, Dan Hendricken and Ian Black are three veteran Nova Scotia comedians with a long list of accomplishments in our region and across the country. They come into the studio for a late night podcast recording after our sold out Comedy night at Roof Hound on Saturday, Jan 25Th hosted by Cassian Ferlatte.

Steph is a very successful chef and TV personality. He currently leads the four program at Maritime Express Cider Company and has appeared on Top Chef Canada, Chef de Bois, Les Quatres Coind de L’Assiette and Nature’s Cool. Chef Levac joines us to share his story and discuss the challenges of life in and out of the kitchen.

Brenda is a retired nurse after 40 years who builds plant medicine gardens and leads workshops and retreats teaching the benefits of traditional plant medicine. Brenda (Wolfrun) comes from indigenous Mi’kmaq background and brings a unique perspective of modern, traditional, western and eastern medicine and healing. Brenda lead a clinical research project for a company called Halucenex in Windsor NS using Psilocybin (magic musrooms) to treat fist responders suffering from treatment resistant PTSD. We discuss the overwhelming results of this project with a 97% reduction in symptoms.

Big Al and Rummy the bear dog join is in the studio to talk about their northern adventures. Working as a bushman, Al assists environmental scientists in gold and copper exploration in the Yukon. We cover everything from sustainable mining, drinking dead toe shots in Dawson City, white witches, aliens and gold fever.

Craig describes himself as a maker of nice things but is best known for renovating antique travel trailers. We discuss his early life in California, his obsession with everything vintage, how he came to the Annapolis Valley, plant medicine and finding our peace and purpose.

Travis Kennedy (Nova Scotia Strongest 2022-24, Atlantic Canada’s Strongest 2024, Canada’s Strongest 2024 and member of Canadian Air Force) comes into the studio to discuss his recent rise in the competitive strong man scene. We talk about the importance of following our dreams, hard work, goal setting and comedy. Travis shares with us the exciting news that he will be attending the Arnold Sports Festival 2025 in Columbus, Ohio.

AJ Baragar is a Calgary based musician and song writer with a strong connection to maritime music. AJ takes a break from his Nova Scotia tour to join us in studio to discuss sugar mammas, tree barking, the importance of live shows and his need for accountability.
