- Chapter 21- Ishmael referred to as 'the slave's son' - Galatians 4:21-31
- Chapter 23- This will later become the burial plot of Abraham (Gn 25:9), Isaac (Gn 35:27), Jacob (Gn 49:33), Rebekah, and Leah (Gn 49:31). For verses on Sarah in the New Testament see Hebrew 11:11 and 1 Peter 3:6.
- Chapter 24- Abraham's servant is probably Eliezer - Genesis 15:2
