Of the cars and trucks that Leo and dad ever encountered, the BMW Isetta may be the weirdest and smallest! In production from 1955-1959, the Isetta, a microcar or bubblecar, opened from the... front? Yes, the front! There were no side doors! You somehow opened the front door and the whole steering column came with! The engine was in the back; the car had the same amount of power as today's leafblowers; it was the size of a fridge and made for BMW by an Italian company that made fridges! Weird and fun and... the BMW Isetta!
