    Today’s lesson is a beautiful reminder that we can always change our minds about what we perceive. Whenever we experience distress, we are looking at the world through an ego filter. Whenever something arises that doesn’t feel peaceful or loving, we can remind ourselves, “There is another way of looking at this.” How simple it is to change our minds! We can set the goal of peace in everything we do.

    In this ACIM Satsang, Jenny Maria and Barret open with the happy reminder that we are not bodies — that what we truly are is far beyond the limits we have learned to identify with. The body is described as a kind of fence, a construct that seems to contain us, yet can never define the glorious, limitless Self God created. This sets the stage for a deep exploration of A Course in Miracles Lesson 268, “Let all things be exactly as they are.”

    Together, we are invited into the practice of non-interference: releasing the need to fix, change, or judge appearances — including our own body and personal circumstances. Jenny Maria speaks about how the mind often makes excuses, telling us our situation is too difficult, too unique, or somehow impossible to heal. But these thoughts are exposed as defenses against the power we truly have to change our minds.

    There is also a beautiful reflection on how quickly we assume something has gone wrong. Instead, Lesson 268 calls us to pause and question that interpretation. A touching story about a brief but profound encounter with a homeless woman becomes a living example of looking past appearances and joining heart-to-heart, without labels or conclusions.

    The teachings deepen when Jenny asks, “What would we defend if we were not identified with the body? This opens into an undoing of identification with the body and the realization that without defensiveness there would be absolute invulnerability.

    The gathering closes with heartfelt participant sharing, where personal emotions and patterns are brought into the light with honesty and willingness — demonstrating how this practice of non-judgment and allowance supports deep healing in relationship and within the mind.

    As the gathering goes on, the tone becomes light, playful, and celebratory. Stories are shared of guidance appearing in the most natural ways—chance conversations, unexpected kindness, doors opening exactly when needed. What the Course calls miracles, are revealed not as dramatic events, but as simple shifts in perception: moments where fear loosens, control is dropped, and love quietly takes the lead.

    Participants openly share their lived experiences—moments of vulnerability, trust, and willingness—where anxiety gives way to peace, and tightness in the mind softens into laughter.
