In this sermon pastor William continues our series on the book of James and speaks on how we shouldn't have favoritism for others. As James 2:1-13 says: "If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it."". We must treat all people regardless of wealth, social status, or education as we would any other person. In Christ Jesus, there is no rich or poor, educated or uneducated, qualified or unqualified, only royal sons and daughters of God.

In this sermon our speaker Michael Dombrowski goes over James 2:13-27, speaks on abiding in The Bible even when you are being tested. The book is a mirror, a mirror that reflects you and it reflects Jesus when you read it. Even when it may be discomforting it's still important to abide in the book, the mirror, because it's law, because it's beautiful, because when you abide in the book God will heal all.

In this sermon, we begin a new series on the epistle of James. And in this first talk, We'll be looking at suffering and glory, James 1:1-12. But first, some background to this letter. It was written by James, who was the brother of Jesus. We can only imagine how complex and challenging it must have been to be a sibling of the Son of God, the Messiah, the one who sits at the Father's right hand in glory. To be family to Jesus must have been a difficult thing to comprehend.
