  • Lunar Eclipse, Virgo Full Moon 2026
    Mar 1 2026

Last week I talked about the volatility stirred up by the waxing moon and February’s eclipse, and how important it is to stay focused on what you want to manifest. And of course, this weekend opened with another conflict between the U.S. and Iran. I’m not forecasting what will happen, but noting how seemingly hasty decisions were made during a very strategic energetic moment.

This week brings the partner eclipse—exact at 6:38 AM Eastern Time on March 3rd. Eclipse seasons heighten everything: impulses, revelations, sudden clarity. But they’re not ideal times for impulsive action.

With the Pisces Sun lighting up the Virgo Moon, this full moon lunar eclipse asks us to create balance, especially in relationships—any relationship: partner, family, coworkers, the barista, your pet. The real question is: How do I best serve here? Pisces gives us the impulse to help; Virgo asks how we’re actually going to do it.

Monday starts with the Moon in Leo opposing Mars, making the early hours volatile. Add the lunar separation from Uranus, and impulsive or aggressive energy is definitely in the air. Let inspiration simmer before acting, especially around people who are not thinking about anyone but themselves.

Mars enters Pisces mid-morning, shifting from Aquarian stridency to a softer but persistent “slow-drip” determination. Once the Moon enters Virgo, we move fully toward Tuesday’s eclipse—powerful energy for progress in relationships when we channel intention into grounded service.

Tuesday looks active, possibly bringing unexpected allies or surprising resolutions. Not an end to global conflict, but definitely the beginning of new alliances forming.

By Wednesday, Mercury retrograde becomes more obvious. The Moon goes void mid-morning before entering Libra. This is a time to finish what’s already in motion, organize the pieces, and notice what the eclipse stirred up. Late Wednesday may feel unclear or lacking information. Don’t commit—research, reassess, realign.

Thursday evening into Friday brings a long Libra void, and Venus entering Aries adds urgency while clarity remains elusive. Use the day for conversation and exploration, not decisions.

Once the Moon enters Scorpio late Friday, the weekend turns intense and deeply revealing. Scorpio energy wants to dig, discover, uncover. It can bring shocks, truths, or breakthroughs—often the kind we’ve been craving without realizing it.

Sometimes I don’t necessarily act out of bravery, but out of a desire strong enough to override fear. That’s the energy of this weekend. If you feel called toward something—healing, truth, a goal—you’ll likely follow it.

  • Astrology Week of February 23, 2026
    Feb 22 2026

    Monday – Moon in Taurus

Monday carries concentrated, slow-cooker energy. Something is forming beneath the surface.

This is internal work. Core work. Like food wrapped and buried in warm earth to transform slowly, your intentions need containment and patience. Breathe into what you’re building. Chew on the essentials.

Be slow to anger. Even a glance at the news could trigger frustration or helplessness. Instead of reacting outwardly, ask:

What am I really responding to?How can I channel this into constructive action?

The Moon goes void at 5:29 p.m. Eastern. During this pause, work on what’s already in motion. Don’t force outcomes. Restore yourself.

Taurus reminds us: comfort, beauty, and memory matter. Be conscious of the memories you allow to surface. Some nourish. Some drain. Choose the ones that strengthen you.

    Tuesday – Moon in Gemini

The Moon enters Gemini at 9:21 p.m., shifting the tone into air and movement.

Now we sort. Thought to thought. Idea to idea. Flip the page on what isn’t useful. Keep what is.

Curiosity is your ally. Conversations, research, puzzles, writing—excellent outlets. Stay flexible. Adjust as needed.

Wednesday – Void Moon & Mercury Stations Retrograde

Mercury slows and stations retrograde late Wednesday night/early Thursday (1:48 a.m. Eastern).

As Mercury appears to pause in the sky, so should we.

Old memories may resurface. Unfinished business may knock. Instead of asking, “Why is this coming up again?” try asking, “What new perspective can I bring to this?”

Retrogrades are for revisiting, reframing, reconsidering. They are not punishments—they are recalibrations.

Wednesday evening’s long Gemini void Moon is ideal for unplugging. Step away from devices. Read. Reflect. Let your mind quiet before the reboot.

Build in extra time. Loosen schedules. Give space for delays. Deep listening matters more than quick responses.

Thursday & Friday – Moon in Cancer

The Moon enters Cancer at 12:11 a.m. Thursday.

    Now the energy softens.

These are receptive days. Creative days. Productive in a quieter, more intuitive way. Excellent for writing, artistic work, meaningful conversations, or planning what comes next.

Opportunities may surface—new contacts, supportive alliances, financial prospects. Be open. You don’t necessarily need to sign on the dotted line during Mercury retrograde, but pay attention to what’s being offered.

Midweek through Friday morning, Mars squares Uranus. This brings speed and volatility. Things can shift quickly.

Keep your hands on the wheel.Fasten your seatbelt.

Momentum can be exhilarating—but stay aware.

The Moon goes void late Friday night at 11:21 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday – Moon in Leo

The Moon enters Leo at 3:17 a.m. Saturday.

    Now passion rises.

This can be a vibrant, expressive weekend—creative, social, even glamorous. Leo brings inspiration and heart.

Saturday may surface control themes—either from others or from your own inner critic. Notice what is real and what is an old narrative. Choose consciously.

    By Sunday, energy stabilizes.

This is not necessarily a weekend to launch something entirely new, but it is excellent for strengthening projects already in motion. Stoke the fire you’ve been tending all week.

We are preparing for next week’s lunar eclipse.

What you concentrate on now—gently, steadily—can sustain you for months ahead.

    Pace yourself.Stay conscious.Tend the flame.

  • Week of February 16–22, 2026
    Feb 22 2026
This is a pivotal week. We have the solar eclipse new moon, the Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries, and the energetic ignition of 2026. It’s fast-moving, highly charged, and — importantly — supported.Monday, February 16 — Dark of the Moon (Aquarius)The Moon is in Aquarius and waning toward Tuesday’s eclipse. This is reflective space.Focus on what you’re ready to bring to birth — and equally, what you are ready to complete. This eclipse belongs to a Saros cycle last seen in 2008. Think back. There may be an echo, though the planetary backdrop is very different now.Midday (Eastern time), energy may spike. Mars in Aquarius can bring frustration, especially around not being heard or understood. If irritation rises, pause. Mars is fuel. Channel it consciously. This is a day to decide:What am I no longer feeding? What am I preparing to initiate? The fog begins to burn off.Tuesday, February 17 — Solar Eclipse New Moon (7:01 a.m. ET)Eclipse at 28°50’ Aquarius.Eclipses deliver information. Sometimes like a strobe light — a flash that grabs your attention. Pay attention to dreams, symbols, overheard phrases. Something may land personally. After the eclipse, the Moon is briefly void-of-course — finish, clear, organize. At 9:09 a.m. ET, the Moon enters Pisces. Gently test new waters. Feel into what you are beginning rather than forcing it.This eclipse also aligns with the Lunar New Year (Fire Horse), Mardi Gras, and the beginning of Ramadan. Sacred timing. Amplified.Wednesday, February 18 — Energy Gels (Pisces Moon)Now the Sun and Moon are both in Pisces. Things begin to soften and come together.Midday into early afternoon brings a supportive Moon–Jupiter connection. Possibilities expand. Intuition strengthens. This is a beautiful window for meditation, creative visioning, and listening deeply. Guard your discernment. Don’t outsource your inner knowing to noise or fear.Thursday, February 19 — Void to Aries FireMoon void-of-course: 10:23 a.m.–2:39 p.m. ET.Take your time. Double-check details. Avoid major launches during the void if possible. At 2:39 p.m., the Moon enters Aries — and momentum returns. From late Thursday through Friday, productivity surges. Especially strong for fire and air placements (Sun, Moon, rising).Friday, February 20 — Saturn Conjunct Neptune (0° Aries)A major cycle resets. This conjunction happens roughly every 36 years — think 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell. Dissolution and rebuilding. At 0° Aries, this touches the world axis. It’s personal and collective.Something is eroding. Something else must be constructed.Evening into the early hours of Saturday is especially dynamic. Opportunity is present — but it requires maturity, clarity, and willingness to act. This is imprint energy.Saturday, February 21 — Long Void, Strategic ResetMoon void-of-course: 6:11 a.m.–6:31 p.m. ET.Excellent for healing, planning, strategizing — not forcing. When the Moon enters Taurus in the evening, the focus shifts to grounding and stabilizing. You may feel resistance. Notice where attachment or comfort is holding you back.Security sometimes requires leaving the familiar.Sunday, February 22 — Taurus GroundingA tremendous day for practical action. Build. Plant. Organize. Invest energy where you want growth. If you want something new, you have to put your hands in the dirt. Do the work. This week moves fast. But the aspects are largely supportive. For those ready to initiate, there is smooth forward motion available.Fasten your seatbelt — and keep your eyes open.2026 Year of the Fire Horse and 1 Year!Spot on Astrology - Blog about celebrity astrology and eventsA Tip for Pamela? “Always Welcome. • Astrology, Week of February 9, 2026
    Feb 8 2026
Fire Horse Energy, Bad Bunny, and the Collective PulseHow about that Super Bowl? And more importantly—how about that Bad Bunny?I’ll be writing more about Bad Bunny and his (I believe) Pisces New Moon chart. The timing is interesting, as I’m also releasing my 2026 Fire Horse forecast later this week. In it, I talk about the eclipses that kick off this Fire Horse year—February 17, followed by March 3.This is energy that ignites the collective. It inspires, agitates, and polarizes. For some, it’s uncomfortable. For others, it sparks connection, acceptance, and a deeper sense of shared humanity.Music plays a powerful role here. It’s one of our most universal languages.I’m historically a visual artist. I love art in all forms, but I never had musical aptitude beyond appreciation. Still, sound’s ability to uplift, connect, and promote empathy doesn’t require language. Opera is a perfect example. You don’t need to understand Italian or German—what matters is the movement, the emotion, the passion.Bad Bunny taps into that same current. If you take the time to interpret his lyrics, you hear themes of love, connection, injustice, and pride—shared human experiences that transcend borders.Anyway… my Bad Bunny tangent.Monday, February 9: Scorpio Moon ReckoningsOn Monday, the Sun and Moon are both in Scorpio, just as they were during the Super Bowl. This stirs passion—positive and negative—and we’re still in that emotional arc as the Moon moves toward a square with Venus.I don’t expect peace and love to suddenly reign after a showcase of talent staged within a culture centered on competition and collision. With the Scorpio Moon, controversy and polarity continue—around the weekend’s events and what’s unfolding globally. This is roiling emotional energy. It’s a powerful time to look at finances and resources with a clear, critical lens. What’s working? What isn’t? Are your investments—financial or energetic—aligned with what you truly value? If you’re riding a wave, ask yourself: Do I actually believe in what I’m supporting? As we continue questioning how money is magnified and where it flows, we’ll see ongoing economic shifts throughout the year.Monday is intense. Choose company that allows for mutual understanding. If you encounter push–pull dynamics, notice what’s being asked of you emotionally. With the Scorpio Moon squaring Venus, the question becomes: Are your needs for comfort and emotional safety aligned with your values, desires, and sense of self-worth?For some, this balance comes easily. For others, there’s conflict—wanting one thing but feeling it comes at the cost of another. This can be a day of reckoning rather than crisis.A simple example: a friend wants you to spend money you don’t feel comfortable spending. Do you accommodate—or do you speak your truth and suggest an alternative? These moments require honesty with yourself and with others.Tuesday–Wednesday, February 10–11: Fire, Momentum, and MisalignmentThe Moon enters Sagittarius early Tuesday morning (2:22 a.m. ET), shifting the tone dramatically. Sagittarius energy is fast, fiery, optimistic, and enthusiastic.Ideas flow. Motivation spikes. The desire to move forward intensifies. The key caution while the Moon is in Sagittarius—through Thursday—is communication. Excitement can outpace clarity. Make sure what you say is actually understood. Ask people to reflect back what they heard.By Wednesday, some may feel unsupported or realize they assumed backing that isn’t there. If you’re moving forward on passion alone, ask yourself: Do I have the resources, the players, the time?Sometimes you can act solo—but only if you recognize that’s what you’re doing. Assuming support can lead to frustration. Also be realistic: illness, weather extremes, and unexpected disruptions are common this time of year. Exuberance may need to yield to practicality.Remember, we’re in a waning Moon cycle. This week is better for finishing, clearing, and preparing than launching something brand new.Thursday–Friday, February 12–13: Capricorn Brings It HomeThe Moon goes void of course at 2:29 p.m. Thursday, then enters Capricorn at 2:44 p.m.Capricorn shifts us into grounded, productive momentum. This is energy that finishes, completes, and problem-solves. If something isn’t working, Capricorn doesn’t lament—it adjusts. While it’s not ideal to initiate major projects in a waning cycle, life happens. Contracts finalize. Opportunities arise. Awareness is what makes the difference.Friday the 13th carries surprisingly supportive energy—possibly a lot at once. Momentum builds quickly, helping things come together. Saturn returns to Aries where it will travel through 4/12/2028. It ignites more of the fire of 2026.The weekend is excellent for planning, organizing, and envisioning what you want to launch in the next lunar cycle.Valentine’s Weekend: Friendship, Tangibility, and LoveWe’re now...

  • Uranus Direct: Expect the Unexpected
    Feb 1 2026
February 2nd: Imbolc and the Mid-Season ThresholdToday is February 2nd, a day associated with Imbolc in earth-based religions, paganism, and Wicca—and, culturally, with Groundhog Day. This is largely a northern-hemisphere moment, marking the midpoint between winter and spring.Traditionally, it’s tied to sheep shearing and the first signs of thaw. Even in deep cold, there are subtle signals of change: shifts in light, color in the sky, and the feeling that something is beginning to move. We’re also in Aquarius season, a fixed sign that sustains the season and holds us in this in-between space. The Moon in Leo: Energy, Expression, and Intensity (Monday)On Monday the 2nd, the Moon is in Leo, a fixed fire sign. This can feel energizing and motivating, especially for air and fire signs. People often feel more expressive, confident, and ready to act.At the same time, this energy can amplify drama or strong emotional displays. Everything feels highlighted—opinions, emotions, and creative expression can all come through louder than usual.Moon Square Uranus: Sudden Shifts and UnpredictabilityAs the Moon moves through Leo, it approaches a square to Uranus, the planet of change and disruption. Uranus brings unpredictability. Things can turn quickly—plans shift, information arrives suddenly, or something unexpected redirects the day.Uranus is currently at a late degree of Taurus, a fixed earth sign, and this has a “standing at the ledge” quality. I often think of this as Fool-card energy in the Tarot: a moment filled with possibility, but one that asks for awareness. The message here isn’t fear—it’s preparedness. Keep your eyes open. Be flexible. Let instincts, and the small warning signs around you, guide your next step.Void of Course Moon: Don’t Push the OutcomeThe Moon goes void of course at 5:55 p.m. Monday and enters Virgo at 10:21 p.m. During this void period, it’s best not to initiate things you’re deeply invested in.This is a good time for:* finishing ongoing tasks* organizing and clearing space* sending things off without expectation* resting and rechargingThe key is not overextending. The Moon in Virgo: Focus, Systems, and ResultsOnce the Moon enters Virgo, the energy becomes practical and task-oriented. This is a strong period for focusing, refining, and getting results—especially through routines and systems.Virgo energy asks: What supports me? What helps me feel capable and effective? If something feels missing—backup, structure, or guidance—this is the time to identify it and put it in place.Uranus Goes Direct: A Shift in Force (Tuesday)On Tuesday the 3rd, Uranus stations direct at 9:33 p.m. When Uranus changes direction, something often shifts—internally or externally.Because Uranus is in Taurus, this can show up as earth-related events, physical disruptions, or collective movements that demand attention. On a personal level, it can feel like a sudden realization or a call to act differently. If you’re involved in activism, organizing, or public expression, preparation matters. Know your plan, your people, and your routes. Astrology offers information so we can respond consciously, not react blindly. The Virgo Moon: Empowerment Through Routine and SupportThe Virgo Moon lasts through early Thursday, emphasizing the importance of systems, partnerships, and self-care. If feelings of isolation or disempowerment arise, they’re signals—not failures. This is a powerful time to ask:* What routines help me thrive?* Where do I contribute meaningfully?* What kind of support do I need—and offer? The Moon in Libra: Connection and Communication (Thursday–Friday)The Moon enters Libra early Thursday morning, shifting the tone. Communication becomes easier. Requests are answered. Collaboration feels more natural.Thursday and Friday are strong days for diplomacy, mediation, and bringing things together. Feedback may highlight where communication can improve, but this information is useful—it helps refine your message and strengthen outcomes. If you’ve clarified your priorities in advance, Friday can be especially productive for agreements, connections, and mutual understanding.Void of Course Libra Moon: Softening the Pace (Saturday Morning)The Moon goes void of course at 6:59 a.m. Saturday before entering Scorpio at 2:13 p.m. Those morning hours are best used gently—no pushing, no forcing. Drifting, chatting, and resting are well supported. The Moon in Scorpio: Depth, Focus, and Resolution (Weekend)From Saturday afternoon through Sunday, the Moon in Scorpio brings intensity and focus. This is a strong time for research, deep conversations, financial matters, and working through complex emotional or practical issues. It may not feel light, but it can be deeply productive—especially for understanding unmet needs and finding more honest ways to express yourself. For MORE astrology analysis of people in the news and a long view perspectiveSpot on Astrology“I’d Love a Coffee. ...

  • Aries Neptune / Leo Full Moon 2026
    Jan 25 2026
OverviewI’m recording this the weekend before the January 26th forecast, right after Mars entered Aquarius and news broke about the murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. We’re living inside a Mars–Pluto ignition point—force, power, confrontation—and it’s already escalating. What we’re seeing collectively reflects the deeper psychological and astrological story: Mars (desire, anger, assertion) meeting Pluto (the underworld, power, shadow, unconscious). This week asks each of us: How do I work with this? How do I channel what’s rising without letting it consume me?Monday, Jan 26Moon in TaurusJupiter–Moon InfluenceNeptune moves into AriesThe Moon in Taurus gives us a grounded way to ask: What am I building? What do I value enough to voice? Taurus rules the throat. Mars in Aquarius wants expression with direction. This combination says: use your voice, name what matters, define your values.Jupiter magnifies whatever it touches today, so amplify gratitude—freedom, shelter, work, dignity. Gratitude strengthens the muscles for kindness and human connection, especially in a time of so much brutality. The big shift today: Neptune enters Aries. Out of Pisces’ fog and into fire. Neptune in Aries awakens the spiritual warrior. After years of confusion and dissolved boundaries, we now see passion and purpose rising. And yes, as I record this, an ice storm rages across the country—an eerie mirror for the “ice” of authority behaving without accountability.Tuesday, Jan 27Moon enters Gemini at 3:55 p.m. ETMars–Pluto exact conjunctionThis is the ignition point. Messages fly fast and sharp. Gemini adds air to Aquarius’ air, fanning the flames. Multiple perspectives, multiple truths, but all with an edge of urgency.Expect strong declarations—both publicly and personally. This is the moment people say, “Enough.” You’ll see pushback against authority, institutions, and any structure behaving like it’s untouchable.Use the energy consciously: write, speak, connect, articulate what’s been stuck inside you. Mars–Pluto doesn’t whisper. It erupts. Better to direct it than be steamrolled by it.Wednesday, Jan 28Moon in GeminiThe air-fire dynamic continues. Calculated chaos is the theme—not just in the news but in our internal emotional weather. Authorities may escalate to justify harsher control. People react, and the reaction is used as fuel. This is a strategy. But for the conscious person, this same force can be a creative engine: conversations, writing, brave communications, truth-telling. Today is about taking action through the mind and through the voice.Thursday, Jan 29Void Moon 2:57 p.m. ET → Moon enters Cancer 5:32 p.m. ETDuring the void period: stick to ongoing tasks. Nothing new has glue. When the Moon slips into Cancer: the emotional body wakes up. At first, you may question your direction—second-guessing, discomfort, or someone else challenging your choices. Sit with it. Vet it. If it matters to you, commit.Cancer helps you follow through with heart and intuition. This is the energy of protecting what matters and nurturing what you’ve started.Friday, Jan 30Moon in CancerThis is a super-positive day for connection, community, collaboration, and emotional alignment. Despite the outer-world chaos, today supports genuine bonding and finding the right people to help carry your work to the next stage.Excellent for social exchanges, teamwork, and strengthening your foundations—personal or professional.Saturday, Jan 31Void Moon 4:52 p.m. ET → Moon enters Leo 7:09 p.m. ETFrom Thursday night through late afternoon today: wonderful Waxing Moon momentum. Creativity, love, community, and the building of something meaningful all get a green light. You may not hit the long-term finish line yet, but you can feel genuine satisfaction with your progress. When the Moon enters Leo tonight: play, entertainment, music, shows, joy. Let yourself enjoy something. It feeds your fire.Sunday, Feb 1Full Moon in Leo at 5:09 p.m. ETOpposite Sun, Pluto, Mars in AquariusThis is a big, charismatic full Moon—dramatic, creative, larger-than-life. But with three planets opposing it, it has a jack-in-the-box unpredictability. Be conscious of where you are and who you’re with today.Don’t get swept up in theatrics or ego storms. Channel the creativity, the courage, the heart. A Leo full Moon asks: Who is your audience? Who are you trying to reach? Speak to them directly. • Saturn, Uranus and Calculated Change
    Jan 18 2026
January 19, 2026 — Aquarius, January 19th, 2026.This is the day to honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. in the United States. I say that with the understanding that holidays are being changed to suit the whims of the current governmental administration.Still, for many people, Monday, January 19th, remains a day of honor and recognition. We are in a waxing Moon cycle, with the Moon in Aquarius—an especially fitting placement for a man whose legacy centered on peaceful civil disobedience in the name of equality for all human beings.Aquarius and the Myth of Sudden ChangeWhat’s notable about this day, astrologically, is Aquarius itself.Traditionally, Aquarius is ruled by Saturn—something many people forget in modern astrology. Uranus, discovered later, eventually became associated with Aquarius as well.Uranus was discovered during the era of the French and American revolutions, alongside electricity—symbolizing freedom, disruption, and sudden change. That energy resonates strongly with Aquarius. Aquarians, or those with strong Aquarius signatures, are often individuals who don’t do things the conventional way and who feel compelled to express their uniqueness.Since I am an Aquarius, with a strong Aquarian imprint in my chart, I have a theory as to why Saturn deserves just as much—if not more—consideration than Uranus.Aquarius is a fixed sign, occurring in the middle of the season and sustaining it, even as climate change disrupts our expectations. There is a frozen quality here. What can look like sudden movement is often the result of long, methodical consideration. When an Aquarian acts in a way that surprises others, they are not surprised; they know why they’re doing what they’re doing.Saturn and Uranus Working TogetherLooking at Monday the 19th, we see a buildup of energy. As the Moon moves through Aquarius into Tuesday, it forms a square to Uranus. At the same time, Saturn in late Pisces and Uranus in late Taurus are in a harmonious aspect. These forces may seem opposed, but they are working together.Yes, Saturn is associated with structure and authority, and Uranus with disruption. Together, they generate a synergy that becomes active as the Sun enters Aquarius on the 19th.This week unfolds on the heels of the recent New Moon and speaks directly to how forces collaborate to create change.Calculated Chaos and the New MoonAs you work with what you want to bring into form during this lunar cycle, consider what I’d call calculated chaos. How do you shake things up just enough to methodically move your plans forward?Think of it like planting a garden in winter. The soil may be frozen, but the first step is still breaking up the ground. The earth needs to be worked so it can accept seeds, water, and air.In the early stages of New Moon energy, clarity of intention matters more than visible results.Habits, Rewards, and Staying the CourseI’ve been reading about habits—how they form, and how sustainable change actually happens.A habit needs to fit your lifestyle. You also need to know why you’re doing it. But perhaps most important is the reward. At first, that reward may be external. Over time, it becomes internal. If the goal isn’t immediately visible, how do you still reward yourself for showing up? For putting one foot in front of the other? With the Moon in Aquarius and Uranus active, there may need to be something tangible that reinforces the behavior you’re cultivating. We’re living in times where certain goals are actively being obstructed. Sometimes progress requires subtlety. It can feel like nothing is happening, even when it is.Regular meditation—aimed toward a more whole, sustainable world—is one of the most powerful practices right now.Aquarian energy often works quietly and methodically before it becomes visible. What surprises others has usually been unfolding for quite some time.Tuesday’s Wake-Up CallMonday looks like a strong creative day and a powerful moment to engage with agents of change. A supportive Mars–Uranus influence adds momentum. This continues into Tuesday, when the Moon squares Uranus at 9:16 p.m. Eastern.Something unexpected may arise. If you are the conscious agent of change, this may feel like a sudden insight or opening rather than chaos. With Uranus, awareness of your response matters more than the event itself.Pisces Moon: Expansion Without EscapeThe Moon enters Pisces early Wednesday morning, bringing a softer, more receptive energy. These days support listening, imagining, and opening to new possibilities—whether through creativity, income streams, or a renewed sense of meaning.I’ve become more aware lately of how cold weather causes us to compress—shrinking the ribcage, breathing less deeply. This physical contraction mirrors emotional and energetic contraction.Opening the body, elongating the spine, and breathing fully are acts of resilience.Pisces’ traditional ruler is Jupiter. Neptune came later, but Jupiter still matters. ...

  • Capricorn New Moon 2026
    Jan 11 2026

    A Note to Begin

This week opens with a deep sense of reflection. Many of us have been moving through grief, shock, or emotional heaviness—collectively and personally. Astrology doesn’t eliminate difficulty, but it helps us understand where we are and how to navigate it with awareness and connection. As we move toward the New Moon in Capricorn, we’re finishing a long cycle and preparing for new beginnings.

MONDAY, JAN 12 — Moon in Scorpio

A powerful day for emotional and spiritual insight.Instead of resisting uncomfortable feelings or unfamiliar territory, try moving gently toward them. Connection—inner or outer—begins with presence. Meditation, intention, or simply sending love toward someone you feel distant from can open pathways.

TUESDAY, JAN 13 — Epiphanies + Void Moon

The potential for soulful connection continues. The Moon goes void of course at 5:59 p.m. ET—a short reflective window. Use it to pause, breathe, and acknowledge the fragility and preciousness of life.

At 6:34 p.m. ET, the Moon shifts into Sagittarius, setting the tone for two active, dynamic days.

WEDNESDAY, JAN 14 — Grounded in Your Truth

Sagittarius energy brings movement, conversation, and the potential for confusion or mixed signals.Stay clear about your intentions. There may be “smoke and mirrors,” but staying present and physically active helps clear your mind.

THURSDAY, JAN 15 — Pushback or Uncertainty

By evening, you may feel like things are uphill or that people you counted on aren’t showing up.Keep doing your part. Stay focused on your vision and don’t get discouraged by others’ inconsistencies.

FRIDAY, JAN 16 — Moon Enters Capricorn

The Moon is void at 6:19 a.m., then enters Capricorn at 6:47 a.m.We enter the Dark of the Moon, the final clearing-out before Sunday’s New Moon.Finish what needs finishing. Tie up loose ends. Ground yourself.

SATURDAY, JAN 17 — Flashes of Insight

Sudden realizations or seductive “do this now” impulses may hit.Hold them lightly. We’re still in the Dark Moon, so this is a time for consideration, not impulsive action. Add new ideas to your future agenda rather than jumping immediately.

SUNDAY, JAN 18 — New Moon in Capricorn

A powerful New Moon charged with purpose and potential.Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Mars all cluster in Capricorn, with Venus and Pluto close by in Aquarius. This stellium emphasizes:

    * Commitment

    * Structure

    * Authority (personal and collective)

    * Building what truly matters

The tension with Cancer–Leo reminds us that home, family, creativity, and heart must stay at the center of all we build.

This New Moon urges us to claim our personal authority and not shrink in the face of larger forces. Strengthen your foundation. Care for your microcosm—your home, your loved ones, your inner life. From that place, you contribute to humanity as a whole.
