Jack’s brand new EP, Infinity Inside, was conceived on the side of a windy hill in the Yorkshire Dales. In this first episode of Arting About, Clare and Jack look back at how the idea first came about, and the layers that went into creating this delicious mille feuille of music, from a sketchy brief, through lyrics, composing, recording and producing, to the final mastering process.

Jack takes a trip down south, and during a breakfast at The Ivy, confesses all to Clare. Together, they channel the cringe into some new lyrics, which, they write on the back of a placemat, hoping one day it will become a museum piece. Fans of 80s music will enjoy hearing about how Jack created a classic synth-pop vibe on this catchy, upbeat song.
