• The Daily Mess Does Your Armpit Scent Control The Workplace Plus Can You Wear Too Much
    Jan 22 2026
I’m always asking questions. The fun begins when you start researching for answers. Such as… Does the scent of another person’s underarm deodorant effect our moods at work? Plus what happens when you notice you’re wearing too much good smelling stuff to hide the stinky parts? I’m Arroe… I am a daily writer. A silent wolf. I stand on the sidelines and do nothing but watch, listen study then activate. I call it The Daily Mess. A chronological walk through an everyday world. Yes, it’s my morning writing. As a receiver of thoughts and ideas, we as people tend to throw it to the side and deal with it later. When a subject arrives, I dig in. It’s still keeping a journal! By doing the research the picture becomes clearer. This is the Daily Mess…

  • Bottom Of The Pyramid From Author Dancer And Motivator Nia Sioux
    Jan 22 2026
Young dancer Nia Sioux was only nine years old when she stepped into stardom as one of the original cast members of Lifetime's reality TV show Dance Moms. Nia learned new choreography week after week and competed against dancers from across the country as well as at her own studio. Perhaps her greatest obstacle was suffering through her dance teacher's ranking of the girls against each other in her infamous pyramid, where Nia spent the majority of her time on the bottom-all in front of an audience of millions. But there was much that viewers didn't see. How her experiences in the studio went far beyond what made it into the show. How she was ostracized for not fitting into an aesthetic that wasn't designed for girls like her. How her friendships and her mental health crumbled under the strain of the show. How she lost control of her story and her voice. But don't be fooled-this is a story about resilience. Nia is not looking for pity, sympathy, or validation as she reflects on her experiences. Instead, she is choosing to use her story as a celebration of triumph. Nia finally gets to tell her story in her own way and in her own words. In this captivating memoir, Nia reclaims both the spotlight and her narrative. In addition to going behind the scenes of the seven seasons of Dance Moms, she shows how she fought against the negative perceptions that dominated her tween and teen years and emerged as a confident young woman secure in her talents and her direction. Anyone who has ever felt misunderstood, overlooked, or stuck at the bottom of the pyramid will be inspired by Nia's story of overcoming. "Despite barriers and constant naysayers, assumptions and criticisms, only you know who you are inside and out," Nia says. "And you have the power to create your own narrative, your own level of success."

  • The Lyrics From Ernie's Forest Chapter 436 Uneducated Challenges Met
    Jan 21 2026
People still have a hard time envisioning that I played 1,700 seedlings into the surface of this forest floor in 1997. I'm shocked by the acceptance of the challenge as well. It's documented with photographs in my daily writing. The greatest lesson I learned putting those trees into the soil was how you should never never never trust a forest floor.

  • What Would You Do Adam Cohen's Captains Dinner Asks If Cannibalism Is An Act Of Survival
    Jan 21 2026
In Captain’s Dinner: A Shipwreck, an Act of Cannibalism, and a Murder Trial That Changed Legal History, acclaimed legal historian and New York Times bestselling author Adam Cohen masterfully reconstructs the ill-fated 1884 voyage of the yacht Mignonette. On May 19, 1884, the yacht set sail from England to Australia. Soon, Captain Thomas Dudley and his crew found themselves adrift in a tiny lifeboat when their vessel sank in the Atlantic. Unfortunately, no one had thought ahead to stock the lifeboat with fresh water and food, and as days turned to weeks, the men faced an unthinkable choice: starve to death or resort to cannibalism. Their decision to sacrifice the youngest, 17-year-old cabin boy Richard Parker, ignited a firestorm of controversy upon their rescue. Instead of being hailed as heroes and survivors, Dudley and his crew found themselves at the center of a landmark murder trial that would transform law and ethics forever. In CAPTAIN’S DINNER, Cohen brings to life both the harrowing weeks at sea and the subsequent sensational trial. Through this Victorian tragedy, Cohen reveals an enduring conflict between humanity's primal instincts and its highest moral principles, forcing readers to ask how far they would go to stay alive?
